Not only is this a great looking rack but it is also Earth Friendly Green Product . This rack is crafted from second/third growth Western Red Cedar. This is a renewable resource and is grown locally. Cedar is naturally water resistant so it will stand up to years of storing wet equipment. The rack is NOT chemically treated lumber which can be harmful to the environment. There is almost zero waste from the production facility; all wood shavings and sawdust is reused for kitty litter, trail paths or firewood. All packaging is reutilized cardboard. So you can feel good about purchase!
