No rack? No problem. If you're wondering how easy this rack is to use, and how functional it is, simply watch the short clip above. The SeaSucker Mini-Bomber is an over-built, rackless system designed to transport 2 of your rides without the traditional worries of rack compatibility and mounting difficulty. With integrated finger pumps, this rack mounts, with bikes in place, in only a couple minutes.
Video shows how rack mounts. Displays the single rack, which can be found here. This listing is for the double rack.
Massive holding power secures 2 bikes up to 45 lbs. each. The Mini-Bomber's suction pads come with a pull strength of 210 lbs each! Additionally, rear wheel suction pads provide stability by anchoring the rear wheels.
I'm worried it will fall off. That's the most common concern with these, but there's no need to fear. Ever seen a couple workers carrying a 10-foot sheet of skyscraper glass? Yup, they're using the same suction technology employed in this bike rack. After mounting the rack it's best to pull once or twice to confirm it was properly seated. Otherwise, you're good to go, as these racks are highly rated for pull strength. For even more peace of mind, the pump tabs have an indicator that visually shows suction power is being lost. So a quick glance during your stops will confirm the rack remains securely seated.
Ideal system for smaller vehicles or those without racks or rails. It can get pretty expensive if you need to purchase vehicle roof rails before you can even think about buying a bike rack. The Mini-Bomber circumvents that challenge by completely eliminating the need for any existing rooftop attachment points.
