Product Description

Have bikes laying around the house? Where do you typically keep your bikes?

You need a Bike Storage Rack!

Use this indoor bike rack to store your bikes up on the wall in a compact area. This bike rack can be used in the garage, house, basement, shed, etc. The bike storage rack will store up to 3 bikes, vertically on your wall. using this rack to hang bikes vertically is a very efficient way to store your bikes. Instead of having to have your bikes lined up around the edge of your garage, use this rack to hang up the bikes and free up some space in your garage and house. Maybe you can even use your garage what it was meant for: parking your car!

The rack system uses "J" hooks to hang your bikes vertically on the wall. The hooks latch onto the bar and can easily be slid to accommodate all your bikes. The rack works well for all types of bikes including mountain bikes, road bikes, child bikes, etc.

  • 35" wide x 5" tall x 5" deep
  • (3) 6" J-hooks
  • Capacity = 3 adult bikes

Pretty easy to install, seems heavy duty.

lousy instructions

The instructions for installation were bad. They directed the installer to put the holes for the brackets 48" apart and then the bar was actually only about 36" long. Also, the drill bit size should have been a bit larger because the bolts were a killer to put in the 3/16" holes. Now that it is up on the wall it should work OK. Its a little cramped for 3 bikes.

Love this Bike Rack!

It was easy to put up! (just need a level, studs and a drill) and it gets my bikes off the ground! Perfect for cramped apartment or garage. Only downside is will need to paint wall or use magic eraser to take wheel marks off it when I move the bikes.

Q:
Does bar of this unit have to be mounted on the wall? Or can the bar be suspended from ceiling joists in the middle section of a 2-car garage (i.e., no wall). I want a system to suspend bikes vertically from ceiling in wall-less space between garage bays.

A:
This rack would not be recommended for mounting to the ceiling, the hooks wouldn't work properly. An economical alternative would be these wall-or-ceiling bike hooks.
