Product Description

through-spoke-bike-rack.gifThis Bike Rack is a great storage solution to store a lot of bikes in a tight space. This wall mounted bike rack is the best way to store up to six (6) bicycles and can be installed in just 15 minutes. The bike rack isn't limited by the size of bicycle and is the only solution when you're wanting to reclaim the garage.

The bicycles can be slid without removing them from the hook, so you can easily move them a little to the left or right. This kit has even more capacity and ability because it comes out away from the wall, so you can place hooks forward and backward.

This Bike Rack can also be used to hang other child tricycles, strollers, and large toys. If you have up to 6 bicycles to hang up with limited space, this package is for you.

This is a very simple product. A bar, six hooks, and two mounting brackets. As long as your studs are 16" or 24" on center, you will have little trouble mounting the rack - that is if you have a power drill. The rack hold four bikes neatly, but even with just four bikes you may struggle to remove one of the middle bikes without removing the outside bike first. Anyway it makes the garage neater and getting the bikes onto the rack is not too difficult. I don't know of a better solution for four bikes.

Happy with the rack, but keep in mind that six bikes is not likely - or, they'll be very difficult to get down. But we hung four and it's perfect. You may want to put something on the wall though, as the tires will blacken where they touch the wall.

Works well, easy to install.
Really needs the option to adjust for fat-tire bicycles!
Definitely recommend for all other bikes.

Will not hold all bikes

The only issue is the hooks are not big enough to hold the fat tires of a beach cruiser, standard size beach tires are okay.

Great to have garage floor clear. Six bikes is a little crowded if you use your bikes on a regular basis. Sturdy construction and easy to install. Nice to have bikes stable and not leaning against the wall in corner.

Check your studs!

Overall really solid & useful space-saver. Unknown until you read the instructions is that you need to find studs exactly 48" apart to anchor to the wall. Perhaps some can see the photos, read the dimensions and come to that conclusion, but we had to be a little creative. Our final look isn't as pictured with the brackets at either end; ours needed to be somewhat off-set but still works just fine.

Also true that 6 bikes fitting is a bit of a stretch even with alternating up/down. Still very happy with this solution

Product installs easily as advertised. It should be stressed, however, that storage for 6 bikes is unrealistic unless storage is long-term and bikes are not being used daily. 4 adult-size bikes are the most that can be stored without a relocation hassle if bikes are to be used frequently.

Bike Rack to Take My Garage Back!

We have two mountain bikes and 2 road bikes on our rack and for the first time in 10 years we can open our car doors in the garage without fear of chipping paint on cars or bikes! While initially it was awkward getting the bikes on and off the rack, after a few tries it was no problem. After we load the bikes onto the rack we lean them slightly to one side to preserve space. They can still be loaded and unloaded without moving cars in and out of the garage. Locking the bikes to the rack adds additional security we didn't have before, also. This is the perfect solution for us!

Best Bike Rack EVER

This is the best bike storage system EVER, and I've owned many with which to compare it. It's super easy to install (find your studs, drill, and screw it in - presto!) it's very sturdy, and it holds 6 bikes in the same amount of space most racks require for 2. Other reviews indicating that it will not accommodate 6 bikes are wrong - the bikes need to be staggered in up/down positions, allowing space for the handle bars, which are generally the widest part of the frame. I'm a 50 year old woman, and I got this rack up with no help in about 30 minutes. I have 6 bikes hanging neatly on it, and my garage looks much more organized! The price is more than reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend this system.

Nice Bike Rack - Tight Fit

Our family of 5 has 3 specialized mountain bikes, one small kids bike and one multi-use bike. The rack was fairly easy to install in our garage once I got the drill powered up. However, the five bikes barely fit and it is a pain getting them up and down, especially the three mountain bikes with the fat tires. If all 6 bikes were kids sizes, it might work but with 4 adult size bikes and one small kid's bike, it really isn't suitable.
