Extra savings on our classic ski storage rack! This value 2 pack pack of our classic BLAT Ski Storage Rack allows you to organize more skis and save money by buying in bulk! This bundle includes (2) Ski Storage Racks, each hold up to 8 pairs of skis, for a total of 16 pairs of ski storage. Whether you have a large family, ski shop, ski resort, or just an arsenal of skis, grab a set of these skis racks for seriously organized ski storage!
Ski storage that is truly "Built Like a Tank" The BLAT Ski Storage Rack is a solid metal unit built to be incredibly strong and last for a lifetime. The rack has a multitude of uses and will definitely get all your skis off the floor and organized on the wall for storage. By mounting the rack directly into your wall studs, each rack can hold up to 100 lbs. Great for your garage, home, or ski shop!
Extra space to hang your ski poles Each ski storage fork measures 12" deep to fit up to two pairs of skis and leave room to hang your ski poles too. Simply hang your poles by the strap or slide into the storage for using the grips or basket to hang vertically.
Solid steel construction The rack is made from solid steel and powder coated with a smooth black finish to be gentle on your skis. The rack arrives as a solid, single unit and does not require any assembly. Since the storage forks are welded directly into the wall base plate, this rack is built to handle serious weight and use over the years.
Worried about ski camber? To avoid hanging your skis, simply mount the ski rack lower on the wall to gently rest your skis on floor. The rack will support the top half of your skis to allow you to lean them at a slight angle. See example photo above for reference.
Quick installation Heavy duty mounting hardware included! Just three lag screws and you can have this rack securely fastened to your wall studs.
Keep your skis hanging neatly strapped together with the use of our Premium Velcro Ski Straps
This rack can do it ALL! The design is pretty simple but it is rock solid. As you can see from the pictures above, you can HANG from this rack. That is always a great sign and really makes me comfortable storing my precious skis on this rack. My race skis are not light by any stretch of the imagination but I know this rack will have no problem storing them.
The design is unique that you can stack multiple sets of skis on the same rung. Most ski racks, especially as you need to store more skis get extremely long and you end up with a rack stretching 6 feet or more. Because the arms are longer you will have no problem storing Pontoons or other Fat Powder Skis until the next dump.
I love that this rack is incredibly VERSATILE. If you don’t have many sets of skis I would still recommend this rack because as an experienced skier I know you just seem to accumulate skis and you will need somewhere to store them. IF you are able to resist the urge of getting multiple pairs of skis this rack has many other functions and is a great place to hang and store just about anything!
The one thing I would caution you with is that to get the very high load storage capacity out of this rack you MUST fasten this rack to the studs of your wall. Drywall anchors will NOT work here. The rack itself weighs 11 lbs (solid steel isn’t light). So secure it to the wall and get the most out of this RACK!
Ride on,
Josh
Owner
Hey, this is Josh from StoreYourBoard, here today to talk to you about the Home Utility Ski Rack. Here it is in front of me by itself and here it is on the wall. This thing is solid and built to last. Basically what you do is you have your skis. You put them together. You have four sets of posts right here. You drop them in between, slide your skis down, and they hang there nicely.
This rack is built from solid steel. What it is plated steel in the back here and then four sets of rods that are welded on. After we do that, we put a very nice semi-gloss powder coat on, very, very durable. We get asked a lot will this scratch my skis, will it damage them. What we found is this is a great option for it. It has enough slide that the skis just come right in and right out, but it’s not some type of foam or something like that that will wear down over time. This finish is on there. It will stay on there. Keep the rack from rusting. But also protect your skis, so it’s a great option. We’ve had some success with it.
With this rack, it’s made from solid steel, so it is heavy. It’s about 11 pounds on its own, so what we do is we include three sets of lag screws. These aren’t your typical little screws. These are actually lag screws to hold that extra weight. Once you have this thing loaded up, it weighs a ton, so you need to make sure it’s properly anchored.
The screw holes in here, you can see there’s three – one, two, three. Those are spaced 16 inches apart, so 16 and 16. That lines up with the common spacing of studs in a home, so here they are right here. They also come with a washer. Just put the washer in and then put it through your rack and into the wall. You definitely need to hit studs or something sturdy so that you can hold the weight that this thing can hold.
With this rack, it comes out. These posts come out about 12 inches, so for typical skis, you can stack them two deep, so here we got one, and you can actually stack two of them like that, so with this, you can get eight. If you’re using cross-countries, you can actually get about four skis per rung, so you can get a ton of skis on here, so it’s a great way to mount a lot of skis in a small spot. Customers definitely love that.
You can also use – so here’s a pair. I got all-mountains. They work great. Here’s a pair of race skis, and there’s even a pair of Telemarks. With the Telemarks, you actually need to make sure that you have the ski bands so they stick together, but in general it works fine. We get questions about where to put the poles. You can either hang your poles on the rods or even better. You can just probably hang them over the shovels of the skis.
One other thing is a lot of these households who got skis and snowboards, you can actually take your snowboard, and for single snowboards, you just put your one binding above, slide it in, and slide it down, so you can do that or if you have two snowboards, you can put them back-to-back. Put the strap on it and then put them in just like a pair of skis. It’s very, very versatile, very heavy duty, great rack. Pick one up today, the Home Utility Ski Rack. Thank you!
Great product, VERY heavy duty
These racks are super solid. They will last as long as we own this house, and beyond. We did have to drill new holes to put it in the right location (due to odd stud locations), and we have a mat on the ground to rest the skis on so we don't impact the skis' camber, but it is so nice to have everything organized.
Well made rack. Heavy duty and delivered as advertised.
Solid
As advertised
Quick shipping
Product is awesome for holding up multiple pairs of skis. Very durable, strong product.
Great quality
Durable. East to install. Sometimes easy is best. Customer service was fantastic and the company really stands behind the product. You won't be disappointed.
Amazing product!!
Solid construction, easy to install...easily holds 8 sets of skis and poles....
Sturdy construction, well finished, and easy to install. A quality product. Very satisfied with this rack. Shipping was fast as well.
Excellent sturdy product, easy to install and holds 8 pair of adult skis perfectly right where we need them! Purchased two racks, one for the garage and one for the storage area. Highly recommend and would purchase again.
Our skis had been leaning against the corner of the garage for too long. We finally invested in a ski rack and this did the trick! I love how it is deep enough to hold 2 skis on 1 set of hooks.
Easy installation and compact storage for the family skis made this a great solution for us.
The powder coated mounts seem a little rough and I hope they won’t create scratches where our skis hang. Time will tell on that one!
I bought this for our ski rental in Red River NM
A few things that it needs. Is black screws to match the rack. Instructions on how high to mount it on the wall. We had to guess and still don’t know if it’s too high or not high enough.
This is an awesome utility rack for our skis and snowboards! It was easy to install and looks really nice in our garage. It allows our gear to dry and in one spot!
The ski rack was delivered within three days of order. From the time Fed Ex dropped it off until it was installed was 45 minutes. This includes finding my drill, extention cord, stud sensor, socket set, tape measure and level. Once the first hole was drilled I was 10 minutes from done. Couldn't have been simpler.
Excellent device. Going to order a second one for the rest of my skis.
I am really impressed with your Home Utility Ski Rack. It is very well constructed and more heavy-duty than expected. It went up easily and looks great in my garage.
I love the fact that you can store two pairs of skiis in one unit!
Very pleased with the ski storage rack. High quality, very solid, and I like the fact that you can store as many as 8 skis on it. Good product.
I purchased the ski rack during my garage organization project. I was so impressed with the quality and how easy it was to install. It's nice to have all the ski equipment neatly organized. Great investment ! I am very pleased with this product!
This is one burly ski rack. I was impressed by it's sheer weight, strong welds and the nice look and feel of the powder-coated iron. It will not disappoint you for storing skis. The Home Utility Ski Rack is the one ski rack you'll ever need - provided you attach it solidly on a wall to studs at all three points. With the right tools and some ingenuity (remember it weighs 12 lbs when trying to attach it), I had it up in 20 minutes. Highly, highly recommended.
Great solid rack. Exactly what I was looking for as it fits all of our downhill and cross-country skis. I tried storing a snowboard on it as well, but in order to store a single board it has to sit really high on the rack (in order to use the binding as a stop.) It works but looks weird. I opted for another storage option for the board. This rack is great though and you won't be disappointed with the quality.
Very strong, can handle multiple ski combinations and snowboards. Just what I was looking for. Free shipping and arrived n a couple days.
the rack is very well constructed and simple. I like that it accommodates snowboards and skis.
It’s sturdy & holds 8 pairs of skies
Rack is sturdy easy to install. It holds all of my ski boards and poles well done
11. PAir of alpine and Nordic skis. Couple pole. Buying a second one
The rack seems to work great, although we have so many skis. I want a second one.
Great product. Works perfect.
Very well designed and produced with a durable finish and excellent strength. I would suggest making it in more configurations in order to fit smaller or larger spaces as I had to cut down my 4 module rack to fit my wall space as well as only needing to accommodate 6 pairs of skis.
This product is genius! Simple design and very sturdy. Gets those skis off the ground to utilize space more efficiently. Bought it for our family for Christmas and installed it in the garage. Currently storing 8 pair of skis and 5 pair poles. Highly recommend this product. Price is great as well.
We love the rack, it fits twice the skis in the same amount of space.
I hemmed and hawed about making my own. This rack is excellent. Simple, straightforward, strong. I'm very pleased with it. Now all of our stuff is off of the floor.
The Home Utility Ski Rack is excellent quality, easy to install, and meets all expectations. Much thanks.
the rack is awesome and heavy duty..sometimes the ski's will separate while on the rack so we just put the velcro straps on and then it is all good
Easy to install and works as advertised.
I bought this rack for hanging my skis in my storage shed. It's strong and well constructed. It was even strong enough to stabilize two shelf units that I attached it to. I didn't use the lag bolts, but they will come in handy on a future project.
Unless skis have a perfect brakes, they slide down and split apart when put into the rack. Makes it very difficult. Have you come up with an adhesive or anything to add to the rack to help prevent skis from sliding?
This rack was a lot better built than I thought it would be. I could probably hang on it. Very strong.
Easy to install, very solid product. Happy with purchase.
This rack is perfect for the family with too many skis. It is made of think steel and can easily support 8 pair of skis when double stacked. It holds wide powder boards as well. I would strongly recommend this rack. It is awesome!
After a long search for a rack to put in the garage, I found this rack, made in the US, and for a price that is a great value for the material it is made from. Read some reviews and I decided to purchase two. I couldn't be more happy. These things are bomb-proof and came with everything you need to get them on the wall. I am using one for skis, poles, etc, and the other is being used for snowboard, and some longboards, and a rake...
Take your time and find the studs, pre-drill some holes and install the rack. You will not be disappointed!
Very sturdy and easy to install with included mounting hardware.
This unit is heavy, presumably because it's made of solid steel. I expect it to be rugged and function well into the future. I don't expect the rods will be easily bent.
My only issue is that the wall I wanted to put it on has 12-inch studs instead of the standard 16. Seriously, who puts up 12-inch studs? Anyway, the rack instructions were totally clear about the 16-inch requirement, and I'm attaching an extra brace to go behind the rack so I can attach it to the 12-inch studs.
This ski rack is sturdy and strong. Just what we were looking for.
I just mounted it today, and I'm very impressed with the construction. I have twos pair of downhill skis, and AT pair, and four pairs of XC skis of sorts hanging on it. And about a half-dozen sets of poles. That's all great.
What I'm still trying to figure out is efficiency. Skis without something holding the tails together don't work (they come apart and the tips are tempted to slip through). Since it's now off-season, I've just taped the tails together, but once the season gets buy I'll need to get some velcro straps or some such, so I can do that quickly and efficiently (hanging up my skis is not suppose to be a ongoing labor of love). Also, for both my skate skis, and my all mountain skis, I don't have much of a tip upturn, and the skis seems to "hang low" in the rack. It's almost like I should create some padding to make sure they don't slip through.
I'll probably work through these little details once the season starts, and the construction is excellent (it's going to last 20 years, easily) but this posting is just to the effect some tweaking will be needed.
This looks great in our garage and was super easy to install. I hang things around my house and this was just as easy as hanging a picture. It is sturdy and I expect it to last for years. It also arrived quickly even though I did not pay for expedited shipping.
This is by far one of the best ski racks I have ever owned. Not only have I made home made ski racks (which don't save you much money), but I have purchased a few over time as well. What most ski racks seem to lack is durability and efficiency as you can usually only store 4 sets. With the ability to double down on each individual set of prongs. Very easy to install (less than 20min) depending on your engineering and practical abilities. Aside from that the powder coating on these is super smooth and you can easily slide a set of skis on and off.
-4 sets of downhill skis.
-2 sets of x-country skis
-8 sets of poles
No problem! Our previous setup was leaning all of this in a corner of the garage. Tangled ugly inefficient mess. Now it's all right and together and I'm happy about it.
This rack is a great rack, I have two of them, however would love one that has 8 post to maximize wall space in garage. When putting two next to each other in the garage, with finished wall space, you have a 14 inch gap between the two racks.
Excellent product, easy to install, attractive on wall and eliminates clutter.
Arrived quickly. Easy to install. Heavy duty lag bolts make me think it should hold up well. We have 2 pair XC & 4 pair downhill skis & poles with room to spare.
This rack is everything it's advertised to be. It is very heavy duty, easy to install and easily holds 8 pair of skis and poles, although I'm currently using it to hold 5 pair of skis and two boards. It looks great on my garage wall and is the perfect answer to my OCD.
This is a great well built product! Exactly what I was looking for to protect and organize our gear!
This rack is awesome! It's well made and you really can fit 2 sets of wide pow skis side by side.
Simple, strong design and well made. We should have had one of these years ago. We now have five pairs of skis and poles neatly hung in the garage rather than leaning haphazardly in various basement corners.
I ordered this rack as I have limited space and need to store 6 pairs of skis.
The rack arrived a few days later and is quite well made.
It took all of 10 minutes to install and is solid. Very sturdy, handles skis of all widths, and looks really nice on the garage wall.
I would definitely recommend this rack to friends!
Super easy to install and like that I can store 8 pairs of skis in a very small area. I paired with a floor standing rack that I placed directly in front of this rack to store a total of 13 pairs.
Well built and easily stores family skis including our powder boards. Very nice.
Accurately described. Quite happy with the product.
This rack is really sturdy and easily stores skis and poles for the whole family.
A great buy.
Upgraded our ski storage system from a row of single ski holders to the StoreYourBoard Home Utility Ski Rack, and WE LOVE IT. It really works, is very simple, and does hold 8 pair of skis very easily. Well built, easy to install.
Love it, easy to install, works perfectly, bought a 2nd one.
I have installed several of the ski racks and the thing it needs is either to come with ski straps which prevent the tips from flexing as you would hang the skis above the ski straps and prevent the skis from falling thru or add clear removal tubing (from any harware store) that reduces the gap for a variety of skis.
I have used both options depending on customers skis. Please note I think this is a great product, but the little extra that could be added would make me mark the product excellent. To be able to store 8 pairs of skis in 32" is awesome. Its heavy duty, comes with good lag bolts and simple to install.
With all three bolts secured to studs the rack is very sturdy. Fits two pair of wide skis per bar. Rockered skis fit although the rack pinches the two rockered sections together. Not sure if that is good for the ski long term or not. I intend to put a strap around and between the skis before the rocker lifts to act as a wedge.
great product. put one in my garage for skis and one in my barn for miscellaneous storage. planning on getting 2 more!
Thanks
I bought 2 of these, and cut one in half as my space was not large enough. Simple jig-saw with a metal blade did the job. One space was big enough for the 34" rack while the other was 19". I cut the one and had two racks large enough for 4 pairs of skis each.
It would be good if I didn't have to do this (cut the rack and drill holes).
Easy to install. Holds all of our skis and poles. Well made. For us, it was well worth the money.
My garage is very organized with my skis up on my the wall, instead of leaning against it.
I am very happy with my storage rack
Easy to install. Take up very little space
Solid ski storage with rugged holders for skis and poles
This is my 2nd purchase of storage/stowing racks that I purchased from StoreYourBoard and I can say with certainty (based on time spent reviewing other products before making both purchases) that these guys make great products. Very solid/sturday, fit to purpose/functional and exactly as described. Oh, and it looks good too!
Consistent with the product literature ...it is heavy as its made for heavy duty purpose of stowing many skis/boards ....so it most definitely needs to be secured well in the studs. If you want to center this rack in a certain location, you might (as I did) have to screw securely a 1*4 onto the wall and then secure this rack onto this board. My only suggestion for product improvement in terms of functionality would be to have several other holes in the metal rack frame to better allow for hitting studs or further security onto a board which is secured in studs.
Nice job guys. Great products and easy to do business with. I'll share some photos if you all want me too.
I bought it weeks ago but I could not get the bolt/screw into a stud - just don't have the physical strength so I had to wait for a handyman to do it. It is hanging now and it looks beautiful! I love love LOVE having my ski equipment hanging properly. This is SO worth the money. It was nuts how we stored them before - high over head - needed a ladder - worried about dropping them on a car. This holds 8 adult all-mountain or powder skis (2 per slot) and their poles. I have one slot used for x-country which could hold 4 sets of x-country and their poles! If you can find a better value or better system I would be very surprised!
You need to do a better job shipping hardware. Missing a lag bolt and 2 washers.
the ski rack is fine. but the shipping of the box was Horrible. lost one of the big bolts to install it. could you send me a bolt?
Bottom line is this is very utilitarian and practical. No fancy design, just good solid plate steel with steel bars welded to it. Make sure you mount this to studs or blocking in between the studs.
It works, Simple, easy to install. Put up two. Holds cross country, alpine and tele skis no problem. Just need a clip or a strap on the bottom.
it showed up with only one of 3 wall screws. i contacted just. service who said they'd fix. they did not, even though i received confirmation. ultimately i spent time and money buying the screws at home depot
Great product
This is our second set of four racks and we really like them. If the skis are smaller, they'll actually hold two sets. That said, they'll easily hold a set of skis and poles in each rack.
This arrived within the week. It was easy to assemble and mount. We are storing skis with snowboard and skateboards in between.
Works beautifully!
I purchased this as a closing gift for clients for their new home. They were thrilled that it can hold 8 pairs, and are excited to install it and start filling it up.
can hold 6 pair of skis
Easy to install. Sturdy. Holding all different types of skis. Would be good it it had small posts on the bottom to hold poles.
I am very happy with the ski rack. I put it up on the wall this weekend and it's so sturdy I think I could hang from it! Now I need to grow my ski collection to fill more of the slots!
Heavy duty, very good quality Ski Rack. Instructions were very good, especially the online video
The product is awesome. Exactly as advertised. UPS beat the CRAP out of the box, lost 2 of the screws and washers. It looked like UPS kicked the box all the way from StoreYourBoard to my front porch. However, the Ski Rack was just fine. I was able to replace the screws at HomeDepot and mount it to the wall in the garage. LOVE IT!
I have several sets of skis and can store all of them as well as my wives on this rack. It is a simple design well built and sturdy and I am sure will survive many years of use.
I purchased 3 of these racks for Alpine, Nordic skis & poles and snowshoes. They are VERY solid - and easy hold 8 pairs of skis. The gaps are a bit wide for Nordic skate skis - but with straps, it works perfectly. Highly recommend!
The rack arrived and is just as depicted in the photos on line. Installation was straightforward and easy. I was able to load up the rack with all my gear in a matter of minutes. Everything is now organized and ready for next season!
The rack arrived and is just as depicted in the photos on line. Installation was straightforward and easy. I was able to load up the rack with all my gear in a matter of minutes. Everything is now organized and ready for next season!
This is a solid ski rack, I replaced a wooden rack that I had made years ago with 2 of these utility Ski racks. It is holding 12 pairs of skis and poles, 2 snowboards and there is room for 2 more pairs of skis! It is lagged into the studs and doesn't move or flex at all, I would recommend this to anyone who has a family of skiers who need an organized way to store the equipment.
The box came beat up from UPS as usual. One end of the rack was through the box and exposed. 3 lag bolts were present, one of 3 washers missing from pierced ziploc bag. It needs to be packed a bit better than just thrown into a box if you're going to use UPS to deliver your packages, they destroy everything they can. I think it's a badge of honor. It installed fine with the included hardware and one of my own washers. I was able to hang from the rods like the picture. It's not going anywhere no matter what I hang on it.
---
I loaded it up with 8 pairs of skis and 6 pairs of poles. Here's my assessment on the skis:
Alpine/downhill skis: work fine since they have beefy tips with steel edges. The tips don't flex and so sit fine in between the rods.
light backcountry skis (Rossignol BC90): these wanted to slip down a bit more than I like and flex the tips too much. I have them strapped together with Ski Bones and so just set the Bones on top of the rods. This works great.
AT skis: I have some early rise tips one one pair and they want to not sit too well. They also don't have much final bend. Right now they're sitting on the straps instead of the tips.
nordic cross country skis: ski tips are far too flexible to work here. They will probably also need a pair of Ski Bones to sit on instead of relying on the tips to hold them.
I didn't put my snowboards on there. I have Flow bindings on them and I think they may be too wide/tall to fit on there without interfering with the other adjacent skis. I may try though.
---
All this being said, I would expect most racks that have rods you put skis between to do the same thing as above, so modifications would be necessary either way. I'm going to add 1/2" ID vinyl tubing to the rods to narrow the gap and see what that does. But I suspect I'll be buying more Ski Bones to help hold the load. They're great anyway.
I would say having the ability to load this many skis using so little wall space is worth any additional modification. I'm used to this type of thing anyway.
Store Your Board is a great company to buy from.
Built to last and sturdy. Easy to install and holds a lot. I'm a lifetime skier with multiple skis in my quiver; this is the first rack I've owned that holds them all. Love it
I like that it holds 8 pair of skis simple strong design.
I like this product; it holds all my skis and is attractive. Good price, fast shipping, good communication from seller.
This ski rack is well constructed, was easy to install, and now keeps our skis/poles organized and tidy when not in use. I used to just stand them up anywhere there was space in the garage (during the winter months) but now, I just take them out of the back of my truck and two steps away is our new Ski Rack so I just hang them up in a matter of seconds and there there ready for use for the next time! Should have bought one of these years ago! Thanks!!
Thanks for checking in! We are very pleased with our ski rack! It's a great way to keep our things organized and easy to use when it's time. This product was exactly what I was looking for!
So far so good. The rack was easy enough to mount. I had to use the trick mentioned about mounting a 1x3 piece of wood and mounting the rack to that. The wall we out it on only had two studs in it. Easily holds our four pairs of skis with plenty of room for more
Super high quality product and carries 6 sets of down hill skis and 3-4 cross country. Only concern is whether the tips of the skis will start flattening out with how skis are carrying the full weight at the tips (tbd).
I convinced my husband we needed a ski rack for our growing collection of skis. This ski rack was easy to install, is sturdy and is perfect for our needs.
I reviewed all the products online for storing skis. This one had the best reviews and seemed to be built the sturdiest. Our daughter and her husband have five pairs of skis and this gives them three spaces to hold future skis or other ski items.
Since this was a gift I do not have first hand knowledge of the product. But they are paying someone to install it because their garage does not have 2x4 studs so they need to install a 4x8 sheet of plywood to support the weight of five pairs of skis. If they did not like the ski rack they would not go to the expense of paying someone to install it.
This will keep five pairs of skis from cluttering their garage floor.
Very sturdy and durable. Will work as advertised and fit standard stud spacing. I actually bought smaller diameter screws then the ones that come with it but not required at all. I just wanted a smaller hole in my wall. Would definitely recommend!
This is a Christmas present for my kids. Was delivered in excellent time...I have a smaller version & I love mine!
Excellent design and space saver. Can store 2 wide skis and poles on one rack or a board.
Purchased to store cross country skis, poles, and bags. Mounted to wall in mud room next to garage. In the summer it keeps everything together and up out of the way.In the winter, just select classic or skate skis and appropriate poles and place in bag hanging next to skis and your off. Well made.MUST mount to studs.
Great storage for our skis and poles.
It is very sturdy. The video regarding measurement and installation was also helpful.
There are fancier ski racks with more gadgets, but for the money, this rack simply gets the job done at the best price. It's built like a tank and will last forever.
Very Heavy Duty Utility Rack - Best mounted if you can sink bolts into studs rather than hanging this from sheet rock wall.
Excellent product; heavy duty and easily holds eight pairs of skis and poles. The installation was easy. Would definitely purchase again and recommend to anyone who needs to store skis or snowboards.
Modern reverse camber boards don't hang that well.
Bought two for family of racers. Awesome answer to storage issue. Easy to install.
Well made product. Large lag bolts included. Installs in a couple of minutes.
Provides excellent off the floor and out of the way storage. Looks good.
stored our skis great and we have room when friends leave theirs too
This was EASY to install and seems very strong and durable.
I did not have a problem but could see a potential problem could arise, if the studs are spaced different than 16 inches apart.
This is an extremely heavy duty rack. Trying to organize my garage and this was perfect for all my skis and poles.
No complaints... sturdy, convenient and easy to install.
Ordered two of these to organize our large family downhill and cross country ski collection on our garage wall. Installation was easy and stud holes (on 16" centres) lined up perfectly. Each rail section easily holds two pairs of downhill skis or four cross country. A caution however...you must strap the pairs together (best at the top and bottom) or the weight of the skis will collapse the tips on some, allowing the skis to separate at the bottom, causing them to fall through the rails as the rail width is a bit large. Otherwise, a great organizer!
I needed a ski rack that was very sturdy and allowed me to hang 4 pairs of skis and poles vertically. This ski rack is awesome. It is very well made and it was pretty easy to put up.
It fits perfectly on the wall studs; the holes are set at the right distance to fit the usual standard distance between studs in the vast majority of American homes. But they also give you an easy alternate solution if you have differently spaced studs.
Best of all, the Home Utility Ski Rack is made in the USA in Colorado. I am so opposed to the vast majority of my skiing and climbing goods being made in China because of the insanely cheap labor over there. If a company is based in this country it should make its products in this country.
Perfect rack to organize our famlies skis. Now we can hang them all in one compact place. As other people mentioned here this rack is really heavy duty
This rack fits well in our storage closet and holds skis for our family of 4, downhill and cross country. It is sturdy and I expect will outlast our ski life. A great purchase.
Did a lot of research on different ski racks and this one really stood out. This thing is bombproof and works great. The powder coat finish is very durable and very compatible with skis. No worries about scratching your skis or the finish coming off the rack. And if that wasn't good enough, the racks are MADE IN THE USA in Colorado! Awesome rack!
After 40 years of skiing and trying to find a decent rack for my too small garage--I found it! Sturdy metal, will hold me off the ground !!! Powder skis downhillers, and slaloms, they all fit, including the poles. Finally something, made in America we can afford and be proud of
My summer project was to clean up my garage and get EVERYTHING off the floor and I was able to accomplish that with these heavy duty racks. Don't waste your time shopping around, order one or two of these now and have it dropped shipped right to your house. You won't be disappointed.
