Need to get that bike out of the way? Why not store it on the ceiling? This bike hoist has a unique design that lightens the load while lifting the bike to the ceiling. There is also a rope locking mechanism to prevent accidental release.
This bike rack is an excellent way to utilize unused space and safely and securely store your bike. Not only will it hold bikes but it is good for many other items that you might want to store overhead but have easy access by lowering the rope. The rack system can hold up to 50lbs of bike or gear.
This easy-to-use garage bike hoist uses two pulleys mounted to the ceiling to smoothly raise and lower your bike without having to get a ladder. This bike lift will lift your bike up to 12ft. The pulleys also give you a mechanical advantage of 4:1 so it will be easy to hoist even your heaviest bike to the ceiling. The locking mechanism makes sure it stays securely anchored while you are not using it.
My only complaint is that I didn't think of these clever devices! They are exactly as advertised and super easy to install. They have created tons of room in our garage by getting the family's bikes up out of the way. They make it really easy to raise and lower the bikes for quick access.
These bike hoists are simple to install and work great. And you can't beat the price!
I have several of these for hanging our bikes and super happy with them.
Just installed, wasn't bad at all. I used longer wood screws than the ones that came with it like others have said. Very satisfied with the result.
I now have 2 of these installed in our garage. We have a grage with pretty high ceilings so we put these up in one of the corners and it is super easy to hoist our bikes up when we are not using them. In the winter it is great, they are out of the way and I don't even notice them. In the summer, sometimes I don't always hoist it back up everyday but I always have the option. To install this rack it was pretty easy I just needed a tall ladder, luckily we have one.
This is a great pulley system to get stuff off the ground in your garage. I bought one of these about eight years ago and another a week ago for a second bike. The first one is still perfect. It needs to be installed into ceiling joists and I use a longer hex head screw than the ones provided. My only complaint is that they changed the cord to a more elastic nylon line. I liked the older static line better. This things can hold a lot of weight and the hooks can be rearranged to grab from different angles.
