This surfboard rack is the perfect rack to store and display your surfboard quiver, up to 3 boards. It is made from solid wood and finished with a dark, elegant stain to make it look great in any room. The rack also has an innovative design, with notches in arms it enables you to display up to two surfboards upright or do a combination of two flat and one upright. It is a very versatile and functional rack with great looks.

This rack is built tough to hold even the heaviest longboards. It comes with mouting hardware and has a rubber strip to cushion and hold your surfboards in place. You can even turn this rack vertical and store your boards in a very compact arrangement. This rack also works great for skimboards, snowboards, and wakeboards.

How’s it going? I’m Andrew from StoreYourBoard.com, and I’m here to talk to you about our Wood Surfboard Storage Rack. You can see the rack right behind me. It’s built out of wood to hold three surfboards. It makes a great storage and display rack for your surfboards. There’s some assembly required for the rack. You’ll get two of these rack sides, and you’ll get six of these rack arms and it’s pretty easy to screw the rack arms into the rack sides. Once you screw the right arms in, your two rack sides will look like this, and this is what you’ll mount to the wall.

As you can see from the rack sides, as I mentioned, it’s made out of wood and it’s great wood finish that looks nice indoors or in your garage or another more storage space. That’s really what makes this rack a very popular pick among our customers, the wood finish. It’s not the heaviest duty wood but it is a wood finish that looks great with customers. You’ll also notice that there is a rubber lining on each rack arm, so when you’re racking your boards, you don’t have to worry too much about dinging them.

Now this rack on the wall displays the three levels. We’ve got a longboard and a short board, then we’ve got the third level empty. In between the three rack levels are 7 inches of space, so depending on the size fins that you have in your board, you may have to adjust your biggest fin on the bottom or you can turn your biggest fin with your surfboard fin facing up. The rack arms are 14 inches wide, so depending on the width of your surfboard, it may accommodate this rack or you might have to think about some other wider options. I got one more board to show you that I will place on top, and this has a longer fin. This fin is about 9 inches, so I said you can get creative with your storage. You can place this last board on top just like this and now you’ve got your three surfboards stored there. So check this out on our website, StoreYourBoard.com, our Triple Wood Surfboard Storage Rack.

Q:
What is the difference between this horizontal surfboard rack and the vertical surfboard rack?

A:
This rack and the vertical surfboard rack are exactly the same! They are listed as two different racks to show the two different ways in which they can be mounted. With the vertical surfboard rack you mount the two sides of the rack arms next to each other. With the horizontal surf rack you need to mount the racks arms so they support the tip and tail of your boards.

Q:
Would this work for 2 SUPs that are 12 feet long and 33 inches wide?

A:
This surfboard rack is not meant for SUPs, due to their size, shape and weight. We have several other options that are built to hold SUPs. You can find wall racks to store multiple stand-up paddle boards here, including this 2 SUP Wall Rack that holds boards that are up to 35" wide .

Q:
What is the maximum weight these racks will hold?

A:
The triple surfboard rack can hold up to 50 lbs. Mounting hardware is included with the rack, but properly mounting any type of board rack is always a factor in making sure it will hold the maximum load securely.

Q:
Does this surfboard rack or the 3 surfboard wood wall rack/ scorpion basic hold more weight?

A:
This triple cor rack (that works for horizontal or vertical set-ups) holds up to 50 lbs. The surfboard rack for 3 boards (scorpion basics) willhold up to 75 lbs.

Q:
Will these racks hold up if mounted outside? I want to install them on the side of our beach house.

A:
Our triple cor surfboard rack is not made for outdoor use, and would not be a good choice for your beach house. You can find some good options for storing your surfboards outdoors here: outdoor surfboard racks

Q:
The rack system is rated for 50 lbs. Is that per rung, or per unit? If it's per unit, wouldn't that depend on how well they are anchored to the wall? Looking to hang three longboards which weigh close to 20 lbs a piece.

A:
Our triple cor rack supports up to a total of about 50 lbs; to do so it does need to be properly mounted to wall studs. Wood racks can be a little more inconsistent in how much weight they can bear, and for this one, I really wouldn't put much more than about 50 lbs on it total, so you might want to look at other options; there is this wood rack that is built to hold up to about 75 lbs; alternatively, this triple board metal rack is rock solid; its total weight support should be kept at about 75 lbs, but each level on its own can support up to a 50 lb board.
