A Fender Bike storage solution that is compact, and easy to use, it's one of the coolest and most convenient wall mounted bike racks available. One of the best features of this fender or mud guard bike rack is its small profile with and without a bike. When your bike is not mounted, the rack arms fold up and out of the way, simpy, leaving a small footprint on your wall. Because of the unique way it stores your fender bike vertically, even when you do have your bike mounted it takes up very little room.
The swivel feature is another awesome part of this bike rack! Not only do you get a unique, compact way to store your fender bike vertically, but you have options as to what angle you want your bike to stick out from the wall. If you would prefer that your bike doesn’t take up much room sticking out away from the wall, then simply swivel the fender bike out of the way so it lays flat up against the wall. If you need more space along the wall, then simply leave the bike mounted as is, or pick any angle in between!
For Bikes with Fenders, this wall mounted bike rack can handle your bike (75 lb storage capacity!). It's perfect for cruisers or classic bikes that have fenders or mud guards. The end of the rack is flexible so that when you roll a bike with a fender up into the rack, it collapses inward and passes between the tire and the fender, so the rack supports the weight of the bike by contact with the tire, and not crushing pressure on your fender.
The Bike Rack’s design doesn’t require any heavy lifting of your bike, making it an excellent option for children or people who have trouble lifting their bike into high places. In fact, the rack’s tire cradle is specifically designed to assist you in positioning your bike into the proper storage position.
Get organized – easily! The Fender Vertical Bike Rack is a simple and effective way to get your garage, shed, or any other storage area (basement, mud rud) clean and organized by storing your fender bike. Whether you’re a beginner biker, a bike enthusiast, or a bike shop, the Fender Bike Rack is designed so that it can be installed side-by-side another Rack. This allows a large number of bikes with fenders to be stowed away in a safe, secure, and clean looking design.
Some rear fenders are longer than others which could cause the longer ones to drag on the ground when the bike is lifted up to the vertical position to mount into the rack. If your bike has long rear fenders we recommend you raise the bike up until just before the fender touches the ground and try to make sure the front wheel is close to or touching the rack, then you can push the bike into the rack. Otherwise, you can lift your bike up and push it into the rack.
I have very limited space and am hoping to install this in a stairwell. I’m willing to lift my bike up to get it into rack. I assume you guide front wheel into the rack when it is in a swivel position? I gain more space if I can do this. Am I wrong? And in another scenario, if I don’t care if it swivels is the bottom piece necessary? Can the rear wheel remain on the ground? Finally I’m trying to mount a yuba cargo bike. It’s 52lbs. And 6ft9in. Do you foresee any issues with that?
I haven't seen a bike that heavy on this bike rack, https://www.storeyourboard.com/fender-bike-wall-rack-swivel-vertical-storage-mount/ -- but it does have a weight max of 75 pounds, so that part should be fine. Then, yes, you can load your bike into the rack at any angle, so you can swivel it to the angle that works best for your space & load it at that angle as needed. Your wheel can rest on the ground, but the bottom piece helps as a guide for placing it on & off rack, so you should mount that.
I have had this for several weeks now. I bought a new condo but there is only a car port with no storage locker for any extras like bikes, SUPs, or snowboards.
I decided to make everything part of a wall art piece.
This bike rack is the perfect Silurian and very very robust. The swivel feature allows me to lay the bike flatter against the wall which makes my old beasts design easier to see.
I made a dark accent wall that is a blackish green from Sherwin Williams called country squire. It provides a perfect backdrop since it is a matte finish and it isn’t reflecting all of the glare a light colored wall would.
I also mounted the rack higher so it would swing up and over my massive Velodyne subwoofer.
I was worried that it might make it hard to get my bike up into but with the design of this rack it is so simple to put my bike in it. In fact it is much easier than my previous two tier oak horizontal rack once the bike is in the rack it is solid and does not move around. My previous rack allowed the front wheel to rotate and the tires to scuff the walls. Zero scuff marks possible with this rack.
Like I said I couldn’t be happier and will be installing 5 of these in my sisters garage in the next few weeks while I try to organize her garage so things aren’t hogging up valuable garage floor space.
The ability to swivel these racks so the bikes are further out of the way is fantastic. And the ability to simply walk the bike into the rack gives on so much ease and control which will be vital since she is rather tiny.
These are great, extremely functional and great for crowded garages (like mine). The only negative comment that I have is that if you have multiple bikes like me (five), you need five rack, which can get a bit expensive (but still cheaper that expanding the garage). Also, you need to think out the spacing when installing to ensure that they are as flush against the wall as possible when folded. Great product!
We needed storage for a newly-purchased bicycle. The only location we have is an already-maximized attached garage which also serves to store two vehicles and a woodworking shop. We searched online, found your website, viewed the video (excellent!) and knew we had found the solution! It is a well-made bike rack, reasonably priced, and we would highly recommend it!
