The Folding Kayak Dolly With Integrated Seat is a unique product in the world of kayak carts and dollies because of the built-in nylon seat. Not only does this product serve as a great way to help you transport your boat to and from the water, but also serves as a mobile seat! This kayak cart is built from a lightweight Aluminum frame wrapped in thick foam bumpers to cushion your boat as it rests on the dolly. Built into this dolly is a 9.5" tall folding kickstand that is a huge convenience. Not only does this kickstand serve as the front "legs" of this portable chair, but it also keeps the dolly propped upright when you're trying to load your boat. This makes loading your kayak into this kayak cart easy to do by yourself. The whole cart folds down to save you space and comes with a 12ft tie down strap to make transporting your kayak easy and secure.

Q:
Would it fold up and fit in the storage bin of a kayak?
A:
This Kayak Dolly/Seat has a platform and kickstand that fold up, but the wheels do not collapse inwards - so you would need a storage area that is at least 28" wide to accommodate the length of the collapsed dolly if you leave the wheels on it. Collapsed, it would also need at least 1.5' feet in height/length to fit into a space, to judge whether you have a bin large enough, or other way to secure this dolly, to your boat, such as decking. As another option, the wheels attach to the axle with pins, and could be removed for storage.
Q:
If I was pulling my Kayak to the beach with my bike, can my toddler age 3 sit in that seat on the way?
A:
No, our kayak cart/seat cannot be used to transport a person or child in the seat, its not designed for that use and the manufacturer specifically warns against it. The cart can be used to transport your kayak, or you can use it as the dolly as a beach chair/seat, but its not meant to have someone sit in it while its you are using it to transport the kayak.
