One of the strongest, most versatile ski wall racks around. Simple, customizable, and functional, the Ski Storage Rack's arms can be adjusted to accommodate the dimensions of your equipment.
Adjustable Storage Rack. This rack system consists of 2 vertical tracks and 4 sets of rack arms. Mount the tracks to your wall parallel at whatever distance apart you require to fit the length of your skis. Then, insert the arms into the track's holes at the spacing up and down the track that you need. For even more storage versatility, hang your clothing and other gear from the cutout holes in the racks' arms.
Secure Metal Construction. This Ski Storage Rack is built from steel, which is more than strong enough to support your equipment on the wall, and it will last for years.
Rubber Padded Arms. The point of a rack is to protect your skis from damage! This rack's arms do just that - their blue rubber coating prevents dings or damage during loading or storage.
Mounting and Installation: Included with the rack is everything you need to complete its simple installation. Insert 4 screws through each track into your wall studs, insert your rack arms into the tracks, and you're ready to store your equipment. To best fit the arms securely into the track, tap the top base of each arm with a hammer.
How’s it going? I’m Andrew from StoreYourBoard.com. I’ve got a product review. This is our Ski Storage Rack. It’s an adjustable storage solution for all types of skis. You’ll love it. I’m going to show you how easy it is to use and install.
It’s a track-based system. You’ll have two of these tracks. You’ll mount them at the length on your wall that you need to accommodate your skis. The great thing about this track-based system is with the rack arms that you’ll get - eight of them, four for each side - you can insert them along the track however you need to accommodate your skis. It’s very simple to insert the rack arms into the track. It’s like a tap from a rubber mallet or a hammer, it will be snugly in place, ready to handle your skis. Another great thing about the rack arms is that there’s a blue rubber coating on them so that when you’re inserting and removing your skis, you’re not going to damage them.
Behind me is the rack set up. I’ve got two sets of skis on this level, two more on this level, one on this level, and two sets of skis on this level. It’s very easy to use. It doesn’t take much explanation. Just grab your ski on the rack and now you can see this is the rack level without skis in it, and then when you’re ready, put your skis back. Just insert them like so. You got room for your poles, room for all the different types of skis - power, race, cross-country, whatever you need. Depending on their width, maybe you can need another set of skis on this level. Maybe you can only fit two on one level or one on one level. You match pair of skis, but you feel a lot of flexibility for storage at home.
Set it up in your garage, in your mountain house, in your basement, anywhere you need to store your skis. Pick one up at StoreYourBoard.com!
The protective rubber covering over the racks comes off of the metal WAY too easy. Every time I placed a board or skis on the racks the blue rubber needed to be reset. It was very frustrating.
It is pretty incredible at the amount of gear these racks can hold. It is a huge space saver and easy to install.
We took your tracks, drilled a ration of additional pilot holes for more support, trimmed the arms so we could fit additional skis in the contoured space we had to work with, and built them into a van going to be used for ski demos in Colorado.
Product seems decent overall, customer seems happy, will see how it works out when he loads them with bunch of skis and drives down snowpacked roads.
Really like the rubber surfaced/angled supports. They don't line up really straight and are a bit floppy from side to side. One was quite bent from shipping but straightened out ok. Once weight is put on the racks they do firm up, but they are still visually a bit wonky. Totally handled the problem of many skis taking up floor space. Intend to use the lower brackets to horizontally support my golf bag for the winter - may have to lay a lightweight piece of plywood or something for it rest on.
I would probably buy them again, but might consider a vertical solution instead. I like straight things to be straight :-)
All good except the clearance for the arms to lock in place is too tight because the powder coating takes up some of the gap...so you have to scrape off the coating to get it to lock in. Kind of defeats the coatings purpose.
The storage rack is exactly what I needed. Thank you
Easy to install, looks good.
I use this rack for my skis and snowboards. It works great to hold all my stuff. It was fairly simple to install. The screws could be better, I actually used some other ones I had laying around the garage. I bought an extra pair of arms so I am able to have 3 levels of skis and 2 levels of snowboards. It works great and I am very happy I got it to organize my house.
