Product Description

The Kayak Lights are everything you need to light up the night easily and affordably. These lights are a really unique design that slide right into a kayak's scupper holes. To install, you simply slide a threaded post through the scupper hole then tighten the bottom receiver. It's that easy!

The Kayak Lights are completely waterproof and can be submerged up to 20 meters. The lights run off of super bright LEDs and can run up to 15 hours off of 3 AAA batteries.

The Kayak Lights are a great way to keep exploring after the sun has gone down! The lights project down into the water, so you'll be able to see fish and other wildlife that only comes out at night. This is great for fishing or just exploring!

Q:
Do these lights fit all kayaks?

A:
This light kit fits most kayaks. The light are threaded through your kayak's scupper holes. The shaft that runs through the scupper hole has a diameter of 5/8". So you can check whether your scupper holes are much smaller or larger than that as a guideline.

The lights won't work with:
  • Pelican Kayaks - the self-bailing scupper holes in those models are too small for this kit.
  • Hobie Mirage Drive Kayaks - for middle scupper holes, the lights will interrupt the Mirage Drive system.
Otherwise, they fit a variety of kayaks, and you can check out our video on this listing to get a better idea of how they work.

Q:
How deep in footage do they shine in diameter and depth?

A:
The performance of our underwater kayak lights depends on the water conditions they are used in -- meaning, clarity. In clear water, you can expect approximately 6 ft deep of illumination, but the manufacturer does not have a diameter available.

Q:
Can these lights withstand saltwater?

A:
I don't have good information from people using thesekayak lightsin saltwater over a period of time, but I am unaware of any issues. For some items like this used in saltwater, it can be recommended to rinse them off afterwards, but I don't know if that is necessary here or would help. The materials the housing is made of should be fine in saltwater though.

Q:
Do the lights come in more than one color? Or do they come in white only?I am interested in green lights, for fishing.

A:
No, these kayak lights are only available in white at this time, and unfortunately, we don't have any alternatives that come in other colors, such as green that would be helpful for fishing.
