Product Description

Keep unattended skis safe! The Locking Ski Wall Rack by Ski Key is the perfect solution for making sure skis stay where they're left. Whether you need a storage solution for your home, condo or ski chalet, or you're a business or resort looking to offer your employees or guests a safe storage solution, the Locking Ski Wall Rack is the answer. The rack attaches to the wall and has 5 individual slots for your skis, each slot capable of being locked shut independently thanks to the included locks/keys that you can get keyed alike or differently!

How the rack locks: The Locking Ski Wall Rack is easy to use. Simply place your skis in the desired slot with your bindings below the locking rails. Notice in the pictures above that if you have smaller/children's skis that you want to secure you can insert them so that they hang from the toe binding, too! Each slot has its own locking rail that holds your skis in place in the rack and locks into the locking mechanism when you slide it to the closed position. See the video above for a visual demonstration of how it works!

Two locking options:

  • Locks keyed alike: all 5 keys are the same and can open all 5 locks - great for families, groups and ski teams.
  • Locks keyed individually: all 5 locks are different; 1 key opens 1 specific lock - great for resorts and businesses.

What skis does it fit? The Locking Ski Wall Rack holds 5 pairs of standard skis. It also works for smaller/children's skis! (Smaller skis will need to be inserted with the toe binding above the locking rail and "hung.") Each slot can lock skis up to 5" wide (at their bindings) so if your skis are wider than that they won't fit this rack. For wider powder skis or snowboards you should check out the Locking Ski and Snowboard Wall Rack!

How is the rack designed? The Locking Ski Wall Rack is made of high-grade aluminum so it's light and tough. This is a high-quality ski rack! You install it with 4 mounting bolts (5/16" - not included) at 40" above the ground (standard height, but you can adjust its location to suit your needs). If you plan on using the rack outside it's recommended that you use galvanized bolts for durability in wet/cold weather conditions. For added security use theft-proof bolts that you can get from your local hardware store!

Keep your skis stored neatly strapped together with the use of our Premium Velcro Ski Straps

Q:
How many keys come with each lock?
A:
Each lock comes with 2 keys. So each rack will contain 5 locks and 10 keys!
Q:
Do you have locking storage racks for nordic skis?
A:
This rack includes all the locks and is an easy-to-use design. You should check your skis beforehand to make sure they would fit. Each slot in this rack is 2.75" wide and 5" deep. The locking mechanism uses the bindings below the rack and the curve of the skis above to keep each pair securely in place. If you think your skis are thin enough to be wiggled out then I would not recommend this product.
