The Paddleboard Rack for Home is a premium quality SUP rack that will keep your board safely stored up on the wall. This rack is made from all steel and has been black powder coated for aesthetics and corrosion resistance. With its steel construction and 27" long arms, the Paddleboard Rack for Home is designed to hold just about any SUP ever made. With a weight capacity of 60lbs and the ability to hold boards up to 40" wide, this rack fits everything from race to surf to inflatable stand up paddleboards. This rack is the same build quality and construction as our wildly popular Triple SUP Rack so you can expect to be satisfied like hundreds others have.
One great feature about the Paddleboard Rack for Home is that it is built with removable arms, so when you are not using it you can take the arms off for space saving and safety. The arms can be quickly and securely attached to the mounting bracket by just pushing in a push pin. One unique feature about the arms is that they can be mounted upside down or right side up. When mounting the arms right side up, the arm will be angled up 15 degrees relative to the horizon. When mounting upside down, the arms will be angled up at about 5 degrees (almost horizontal). The arms are equally strong mounted in either position, so picking how you want it is simply a matter of preference. The arms are completely covered in 1/3" thick closed cell foam. This is premium quality foam that is designed to take a heavy board without causing any scuffing or pressure point distortion. This foam allows you to keep your board in the rack in the off season without fear of distorting your SUP.
Want to store your paddleboard vertically? You can use the two arms included with this rack to create a vertical SUP rack that works similarly to our vertical surfboard rack. To do this, you would mount the two arms on a wall or fixed surface approximately 1/2 of the height of your paddleboard. The two arms should be mounted close to each other to form a "slot" that is just wide enough for your board to slip in. While gravity alone should keep your board in place, we still recommend some type of strap to prevent your board from slipping out. Additionally, we recommend putting some padding underneath your paddleboard to protect the tail's fiberglass. Please remember that your SUP is huge and that you should measure the height of your ceiling if you plan to mount your SUP vertically indoors. The image to the right is a very inventive way to use this rack vertically. A customer sent us this image of their handy work of mounting SUPs vertically on the back of an RV!
Howdy! I’m Andrew from StoreYourBoard.com here to talk to you today about our Single Steel Paddleboard Wall Rack. It’s a quick and easy way to store your paddleboard in your garage, in your shed, anywhere at home that you need to store a big SUP like this. The rack comes with two independent rack sides that you can mount at any distance apart to accommodate a variety of different-sized paddleboards. The rack also comes with the two rack arms that are very easy to assemble in the rack sides with a simple push button.
You have two of these and you can pull the rack arms off when you need to. Maybe you set this rack up in your garage. You’re taking your boards on a big trip outback somewhere on your dock or deck. You can pull the rack arms out for additional storage space. So you can see the rack set up behind me. It’s made of heavy-duty steel, so it’s a very durable rack. Now do we have an inflatable paddleboard in here, so you might be thinking, “Oh, it will only hold lighter paddleboards.” That’s really not the case. We just wanted to show you one of our wire boards in here.
Like I mentioned, you can mount the rack arms at any length that you want and the rack arms themselves are 27 inches wide, so that will accommodate wider paddleboards even if you had some overhang of particularly wide paddleboard 30 something inches, 34 inches. That really should be okay. This rack can support it with a little hang over the edge of the rack arms. Like I mentioned, it’s a great rack for your home. It will store your paddleboard. It’s very simple, and if you need more storage, we also have a double or a triple paddleboard storage version, too. Check it out on our website, www.StoreYourBoard.com.
Very easy to install and use.
This rack is perfect for what I needed. I mounted it in my garage on a side wall just above overhead level. I can simply slide my SUP off of the rack directly onto my car roof rack. Very easy loading and unloading with this rack! I love the fact that the arms are removable. During the winter, the board will be stored elsewhere. I can simply remove the arms on the rack and you would never know it was there. Perfect!
Quick delivery. Quality material and simple installation.
the paddleboard racks are of the highest quality and very well priced. i am completely satisfied with the 3 that I bought.
Excellent rack. looks nice. One of the screws that came with the rack snapped when tightening it, so I had to move the rack a little bit and replace the screw.
I would highly recommend this rack.
Rock Solid, Stylish, and nice padded arms. Holds one race SUP with ease.
Work great and are easy to install.
Easy to install
I love these racks for storing my SUPS. The racks and hardware are high quality, sturdy and versatile. They have two arm positions allowing flat or angled storage, and enough load capacity to stack two boards if necessary.
Knowing my storage space for my new SUP was limited, I knew a practical rack for my garage wall would be my best choice for storage. I shopped many styles and decided on this purchase. I appreciated the ease of installation, the angled design, the sturdy construction, and the ability to easily remove the arms when not in use without removing the bracket from the wall. I was in no way disappointed couldn't be happier with my purchase.
I'm very happy with my paddleboard racks. I am using them to store a windsurfing board, along with two masts, two sails (piled on top of the board), and a boom. The installation was simple and didn't take too long. I used a stud finder to screw the racks into studs. This is done in my garage.
These are exactly what they appear to be and are very well made. All necessary mounting hardware was included. Highly recommended.
Easy to install , strong , resistant , accommodates with an accurate display of room to get out , put back , even with fins installed , safer , avoiding unnecessary damage storing your boards, top of picture is the single rack , and below the 3 boards Rack !!!
Awesome Product !!
Great product for a large stand up paddle board. Very professional all around. Highly recommend!
Easy to install, very sturdy, good quality, very well made. Perfect to store our boards for the winter!
Typical storeyourboard purchase for me. The rack is better than advertised and the ease of purchase was great. SYB is a reputable company with great products at good prices. I have made a number of purchases form SYB and have always been pleased. The removable arm board rack is solid, easy to remove arms, etc. Just another great purchase for me form SYB.
the arms can angle up or down, it fit in perfectly under the deck. easy installation, I added an eyelet and cable lock for security
It was easy to install. I put two sup on it and it works swimmingly. I wish I would've used a socket to tighten the screws. I didn't think of it until I was done. I used a drill and think a socket wrench would've worked better. The arms snap on and off easily. Great quality. I would buy it again and will certainly take it with me if I ever move.
The order shipped exactly on time, the product was exactly as advertised and easily installed and the price was excellent.
easy to mount and work great for my SUP but included instructions were basically nothing. I would have mounted it lower if I knew the final clearance and mounting angle
Strong Sturdy Easy
Overall, I'm quite happy with these racks...I bought four pairs, and installed them all in a couple of hours (although, the most time-consuming part was finding the studs and measuring to ensure that the racks were mounted level).
They function very well...The arms can be popped out and flipped to either hold the board more flat or more angled, which is a nice option to have...However, it does make the arms a little wobbly. Once the boards are on, it doesn't seem to be a problem, but I would have preferred them to feel a little more solid and unmovable.
Each rack component only came with 2 screws, one longer and one shorter...Sometimes the shorter ones wasn't long enough, and sometimes the longer ones took an extreme amount of effort to drill in...And I snapped a couple of the longer ones off, so it would have been useful to have a few extras.
Based on the other selections offered on this site, I would still order these again...Despite the few minor issues, they are still a great product, very versatile and useful.
