The Roof Rack Snowboard Carrier is a very affordable and convenient way to get your snowboard to and from the slopes. This rack is the traditional flat-top style ski rack that is effectively a big clamp for your boards. This style of rack is universal and is the quickest to load and unload. To use, you simply drop in your boards with your bindings in between the two rack arms, then close the clamp down - its that easy! We recommend putting your snowboards base-to-base and placing them in the rack. This allows you to conserve space and lets you carry up to 2 or 4 snowboards. We offer this rack in a 2-board and a 4-board option so you can meet your specific storage needs. Please note that with today's extra wide powder boards that you may not be able to fit the specified amount of boards in the rack. The size ratings are based on traditional (non-powder and non-wide) boards.
One of the best features about this rack is that it is lockable. Included with the rack are two keys that allow you to lock and unlock the rack. This is such a convenience because it means you don't have to hassle with other unruly locks that look bad and may beat up against your roof while you drive around. The integrated lock allows you to confidently leave your snowboards in place while you go enjoy a little apres ski. This boards rack is designed to attach to vehicles with existing crossbars and will attach to both rectangular and oval shaped crossbars. Please see the dimensions section for more fit information. While this is a snowboard rack, it can also work for skis. So if you're family or friends are divided between boarders and skiers, then this rack is a great option.
