The Self-Inflating Surfboard Roof Rack is one of the most convenient and awesome temporary surfboard roof rack systems available. The Self-inflating Surfboard Roof Rack is similar to other temporary roof rack systems in that it is removable and versatile, but the differentiating factor with this rack is that it is self-inflating! Having an inflatable roof rack system is a huge advantage if you're looking to compactly store your rack system when it is not in use. When this rack is not inflated, the rack fits neatly into the provided nylon travel bag that is small enough to be kept permanently in your glovebox or trunk.
Will it carry my surfboard? This rack is rated to carry up to 100 lbs, meaning it can handle almost any surfboard without difficulty. (It can even support SUPs, canoes or kayaks under 100 lbs.)
How does it setup? Setting up the Self-Inflating Surfboard Roof Rack is as easy as unpacking, unrolling, inflating and mounting it to your roof! There are no tools necessary and because it's self-inflating you don't even need a pump. Just unscrew the air valve, wait for the rack to inflate, and then twist it shut. After inflating the rack you just have to place it on your roof and run the durable nylon straps through your car doors, tightening the strap underneath your roof and closing the doors. To pack it up just take it down, deflate it, and put it in its storage bag!
Will it fit on my car?
Ready to go out of the box. Each Self-Inflating Surfboard Roof Rack system comes with everything you need to setup, use, and store the inflatable rack. There are no tools or pumps needed!
**NOTE: This rack does not come with tie-down straps. You can get some here!
