Looking for a heavy duty Shortboard Surfboard Travel Bag? You just found it. This Travel Bag is a high-quality bag for transporting and protecting your surfboard, especially if you've got an international trip to catch a firing reef break. Its compact style is designed specifically for narrower shortboard surfboards like thrusters. But, it comes in 4 lengths, so you can find one to fit all the different shortboards in your quiver.
The Bag's design is heavy on padding and protection. As you can see in the pictures, edges of the bag (nose, tail, and rails) are heavily padded (20mm of foam, about twice the padding of other bags) to protect those areas particularly susceptible to damage during transport, whether it's you loading your surfboard into your car, the airport luggage handlers loading it on and off the plane, or the bag bouncing around your car while you travel over unpaved roads to a remote spot. With a silver heat-reflective tarpee upper exterior and a 600D water-resistant polycanvas base, you don't have to worry about its durability on trips. And with a 7mm shock-absorbing foam core, your surfboard will be well-protected traveling from point A to the water, and back again.
This Shortboard Travel Bag also has the features you need for comfort and convenience:
Prompt delivery on order and my board made it to Puerto Escondido without a scratch. I'm happy with this bag, especially at this price.
I bought this for my grandson's birthday. He is an avid surfer and gave it a big thumbs up.
great rail protection but deck and bottom are not protected more than a typical day bag. So I am keeping this 6'3" bag and putting it inside my 6'4" day bag.
exactly as per description !!!
(Including Alaska and Hawaii)
