Does this surf rack come with 2 pieces?
A:
Yes! This surf rack has two pieces. Use one piece to support the front of your surfboard and one to support the back of your surfboard. Space them at whatever distance you need to best fit your surfboard length, whether is it a longboard or a short board.
Q:
How much weight can it hold?
A:
This single surfboard rack is a rock solid and sturdy wall rack, as it is made from steel. There isn't a manufacturer's weight specification for it provided. However, the key is to make certain you mount it properly to the wall; when properly mounted, it should hold a surfboard up to about 50 lbs. It comes complete with mounting hardware and instructions, but we also have these installation and spacing guidelines and tips, should they be helpful for reference.
Q:
How many inches is the top of the rack to the bottom of the part that sticks out to hold the board?
A:
This horizontal surfboard rack has 2" in space between the top of the wall-plate and the arm where the board is placed.
Good design and easy installation, not great quality control.

This is the third set of wall racks I received, which I use to hold skis in the garage.
The first two arrived in great condition. The third arrived with both end caps damaged (one was broken in half) and one of the soft covers had a small cut (roughly 2").
Not the end of the World but you'd think these would ship in better condition considering they were packaged well and weren't damaged through shipping.
I'd recommend, but gave it 4 stars due to the condition they arrived in. Already mounted so it wasn't a deal breaker, just disappointed they were damaged.
Great for Big Boards

I recently received a 9' 6" custom balsa wood long board. I was concerned with not finding a rack that would hold this size board. This rack was not only a pleasure to install, but it is also holding my board without any issues. I am very pleased with this product.
