Product Description

One of the strongest, most versatile ski and snowboard wall racks around. Simple, customizable, and functional, the Ski and Snowboard Storage Rack's arms can be adjusted to accommodate the dimensions of your equipment.

Adjustable Storage Rack. This rack system consists of 2 vertical tracks and 4 sets of rack arms. Mount the tracks to your wall parallel at whatever distance apart you require to fit the length of your boards or skis. Then, insert the arms into the track's holes at the spacing up and down the track that you need. For even more storage versatility, hang your clothing and other gear from the cutout holes in the racks' arms.

Secure Metal Construction. This Ski and Snowboard Rack is built from steel, which is more than strong enough to support your equipment on the wall, and it will last for years.

Rubber Padded Arms. The point of a rack is to protect your gear from damage! This rack's arms do just that - their blue rubber coating prevents dings or damage during loading or storage.

Mounting and InstallationIncluded with the rack is everything you need to complete its simple installation. Insert 4 screws through each track into your wall studs, insert your rack arms into the tracks, and you're ready to store your equipment. To best fit the arms securely into the track, tap the top base of each arm with a hammer.

Need Even More Storage? Add extra rack arms to your rack (up to 6 total levels), or grab a set of extra rack tracks for additional options.

Howdy! Welcome to another StoreYourBoard product video. I'm Andrew and I’ve got an Adjustable Ski and Snowboard Storage Rack right here. I'm going to tell you a little bit about it why it's popular with our customers.

This is a track-based rack system, so there are two tracks that you'll mount to your wall and mount really easily with four screws on each side. Into each track you can insert four arms. The great thing about the track system and the arms is that they fit in really easily and you can adjust them along the length of the track, so it’s up to you how far apart you need to space these arms, the four of them to fit your snowboards and skis.

Once you install the tracks along the wall, you've set up your rack arms, you have the system for your skis and snowboards. There's not much to it. The rack arms are padded with rubber so that while you're inserting your skis and your snowboards you’re not going to damage them. It’s a very stable system. We’ve got two snowboards on this level. We’ve got two skis - sets of skis - here.

I’m going to show you. You’ll just insert your skis on to the rack, minding your bindings. I’ve got the poles also. Then on this level we can add another snowboard. Now we’ve got multiple snowboards and skis on each level. It’s a great system. You can customize it to fit what your gear is at home, set it up in your garage, inside your house, at your ski house - anywhere you need to store your gear. You won’t be unhappy that you did it. Check it out at StoreYourBoard.com!

Q:
I am interested in the ski and snowboard storage system. I only have 46" of vertical space. What is the material? I'm thinking of cutting 2" off the top (the rough edge would be at the ceiling). Do you think I could do that?

A:
The rack is made from a mild steel. You should be able to cut off a couple inches of the vertical uprights with any common metal cutting tool such as a reciprocating saw. Since the vertical uprights have slots all along, you will be able to place the arms along the new 46" verticals and still be able to store your boards and skis.

Q:
How far out from the wall do the arms reach?

A:
The arms on this board storage rack are 14.6" long, but because they are at an angle, they only reach out about 10" from the wall.

Q:
Will this system hold boating equipment such as wakeboards, surfboards and slalom skis??

A:
Our ski and snowboard rack with adjustable arms is a perfect multi-sport/gear rack! It holds surfboards, wakeboards, snowboards, skis, etc. The only type of board it really isn't suited for is a Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUPs) but most other boards and skis will fit great, and you can adjust the arms depending on what type of gear you are storing on it

It was simple to install, and looks good in its final condition. Beware, make sure to use the screws provided with the install kit; I tried using something beefier - and it ended up interfering with the clip system to get the arms attached to the brackets. The arms are somewhat knocked out of alignment easily, and look askew - drives me nuts always adjusting them back into place.
Overall a good purchase, but always the option to do something cheaper for a less industrial feel to it.

Nicer and cheaper than I could make on my own

I am decent at making things, and know the cost of materials. This rack is well worth the value.
