Product Description

snowboard-and-skateboard-wall-rack.jpgThis lightweight molded plastic rack is a great way to store your snowboards. This snowboard storage wall rack is very durable and can easily take the abuse of continued use. No place to store your board when you aren’t riding on the mountain? Get this wall rack! Great for displaying and storing your boards out of harm’s way. Put this rack up in the garage, a closet, mud room, or a bedroom.

Please note that this rack can easily handle the weight of 3 snowboards, but cannot hold 3 snowboards with bindings at once. It may hold 2 snowboards with bindings plus one snowboardboard without bindings, but the spacing between the rack arms prevents 3 complete snowboard setups. We recommend using the free rack level for skis, skateboards, or other snowboarding gear.

Happy shredding!

This rack is very well engineered and is a huge seller based on simple form, great function, and one of the best price per boards stored on (Check it out for yourself – Price/3 (boards) and try to find a rack that can beat it!) .

The design is basically an "I - beam" style, a very lightweight strong construction method used is many buildings. The rack storage surface is made with a slight angle which ensures the snowboards will not slip out and also provides a nice viewing angle. This kind of feature where the slight angle provides multiple benefits is captured all over in this rack. The area where the mounting screws affix the rack to the wall is nicely hidden and also has a thicker piece of plastic for extra support near the mounting area to make sure the screw heads don’t rip out. The design also lends itself neatly to being stacked on top of each other. It is very common for customer to order 2 or 3 of these racks and just stack them up to hold up to 9+ snowboards.

This rack is made of HDPE plastic which is super strong and makes you think you could run your car over it and it would survive. With that kind of strength you know it will last for many years storing your snowboards. Another nice feature is that the plastic is very easy to paint, so if you want it to match some decor you can easily color match the rack.

Not only is the rack designed well it comes with well written and diagramed instruction to make sure you mount the rack properly. There is nothing worse than getting a rack and not knowing how to install it or mounting it improperly and risking damage to your snowboards.

As an added bonus this rack can hold many different types of boards from skateboards, scooters, razors, snowboards, skis, and many other things. You are sure to fill it up quick and most likely need a few to store all your gear.

This rack is one of our best sellers on the entire store since it was introduced. I would say this rack is ideally suited for STORAGE of your snowboards - It is not a flashy or super stylish display rack, but if you are looking for an excellent functional snowboard storage rack at a killer price? YOU FOUND IT! Pick one....or 3 up today.

Ride on,

Josh Gordon

  • Length = 16.5"
  • Each rung of the rack is 6.5“ long to hold your board – Will hold most boards under 12” wide
  • 5.5" spacing between rungs
  • Width of base pieces that attach to the wall: 1.5"
  • Distance between top and bottom mounting holes on each arm: 11"
  • Holds up to 45 lbs of gear total
  • Each order comes with 2 rack sides, 4 mounting screws, 4 drywall anchors, and instructions
Why are there 4 mounting hole slots in each rack side (8 total slots)? It says there are only 4 screws and drywall anchors included.

The rack is manufactured with 4 mounting slots on each rack side to give you flexibility in mounting. The rack has more than enough strength to hold your typical skateboards, snowboards, skis, sticks, and many more items with just two screws on each side.

Please remember this is an engineered product. It is constructed to hold the most weight in the downward direction, the way your gear will apply force to the rack. It is not as strong in the lateral (side to side) direction but it is more than sufficient.

We have tested it and have seen it hold well over 50lbs of gear using only 4 mounting locations (2 on each rack side). The important thing is to make sure those 4 screws are securely grabbing something sturdy. It is best to screw the rack into solid wood studs or a wooden mounting surface. As for which holes to use, we typically recommend using the inside mounting holes so that the rack has a cleaner appearance from the outside. When your boards are stacked in the racks you can't see any of the mounting screws.

Hey! This is Josh from, here today to talk about our Snowboard Storage Rack. Here it is on the wall, and here it is in front of me. Really great rack to store your boards, and for the money it can’t be beat. Here it is. It’s ABS plastic, lightweight yet surprisingly strong. It comes with two different sides, and this is the black version and we also recently came out with the clear version, which has a pretty cool look as well. You can get either version. You get the two sides and then you also get a hardware pack, which comes with four screws and four drywall anchors. In general, we try to recommend hit the studs but for things like snowboards and whatnot, the drywall anchors will be able to hold it.

It comes in a package like this, and this rack is great for all kinds of boards actually, you know snowboards. It will actually hold skis, skateboards, longboards, hockey sticks, all kinds of stuff, so it’s a really, really useful rack. As you can see, it has three levels. You basically just go ahead and take your snowboard, place it in, slide it back and there it is.

The one thing I want to caution you about is with the newer high-back bindings, as they get bigger and bigger, the spacing between the rungs starts to get pretty tight, so it’s 5.5 inches between the rungs between the rungs. On the top, in the bottom, it really doesn’t matter because you can put your surfboard up just like this one and the bindings can go up and you basically have unlimited space up, so it’s no problem. The same for the bottom. You flip your board down, and you have plenty of space for your bindings on the bottom.

The tight spot is the center, so depending on how big your bindings are, you might only be able to get two high-back boards in. Right now, I just have a deck without any bindings. Anything with a small set of bindings will also fit. But like I said, there’s also tons of different things to use it for, so you can go ahead and leave one open. I know people do things like hang their helmet, their gloves from them, dry them out.

You can also put some skis in it like this. A pair of skis there, so if you have snowboards and skis, that works great. Then like I said, it’s also great for skateboards, scooters, all kinds of stuff so it’s super versatile. For the price, it can’t be beat. When you’re mounting it, I’m going to do a separate video on the mounting, so check that out if you’re interested. But in general, as far as how far to spread them apart because they’re independent of each other, you can spread them as far apart down the wall as you want, which is great for different types of boards. With these, with snowboards, skateboards, it works great to kind of mount them in between the bindings, so kind of take a look at what your binding spacing is and go ahead and mount them that distance. Otherwise, that’s pretty much it, the Snowboard Storage Rack from StoreYourBoard. Thanks!

A little flimsy bolt pattern but works

I don't like how you have to pick a side to screw down. Nobody is good enough at locating studs to hit both sides. But it works on one side, nonetheless.

Board rack review

Overall nice quality have 3 boards hanging with no issues on the drywall anchors. Only reason I give it good instead of excellent is one of the dry wall anchors broke when I was screwing it into the wall, but used a new anchor and worked fine after that. Only thing I could think of as an improvement would be if there was some rubber on the surfaces the boards sit on maybe as a higher price point model I'd pay an extra $10 for that personally.

I bought it to hold my 3 boards, a 165, a 164W and a 163W. I mounted it in under 5 minutes, and it holds them without a problem. It is plenty sturdy as well.

Great Storage Racks - minor improvement needed

Great racks, fantastic concept. Design improvement suggestion.

The current mounting screw holes are square to the back of the board. Instead, redesign to offset the angle 25-30 degrees to each side. This would enable a power screw driver or drill to more easily drive the screws. (This is especially needed in older construction where the wood studs are dry and harder.)

Otherwise a great product and I'm happy as heck to use them.

Exactly what I needed - a place to put my son and daughters snowboards. Put this up in the garage and we are good to go. My wife also found out that you can put the boots on the top shelf and make it act like a shelf! I was a bit concerned about the plastic but it is plenty sturdy once I mounted it to the wall.

I absolutely LOVE this snowboard rack. It works perfectly for our 2 snowboards. I would not recommend for 3 boards but two works perfectly. One on the top shelf and one on the bottom shelf and our boots can sit right on the top!

Others complain about the flimsy plastic. It is flimsy on a side-to-side basis, but it provides the up-and-down strength that is necessary to hold your gear (which is most relevant). I found the wall studs and installed this in 5 minutes, and it works fine.

Two issues to be aware of.. the thickness of your gear and the width of your snowboard.. I made this work with 1 snowboard and 2 sets of skis. The board HAD to be on top since the bindings needed the clearance. My snowboard is also NOT a wide-sized board. If it was, I question whether it would be too wide to properly fit (i.e. it might fall out). The two sets of skis are thick and have big bindings - and to make them fit, I had to skew the skis a bit so the bindings would fit in there. In other words, the clearance for each piece of gear is a bit tight, especially if you're trying to get 3 things in there, and they are thick items. But overall, for the $20 pricetag, it's a good item.

"I purchased the Jib Crib to help organize mine and my wifes collection of boards. i have 3 and she has 1 (she's just getting started). We were looking for something that was easy to use and looked good to display our collection in our newly finished basement near where our future sports bar would be. I have friends with the Jib Crib who love it so I went for it also and am totaly satisfied with my purchase! Easy to hang, easy to put your boards in and looks cool! "
