Product Description

This SUP padded travel and day bag is a high-quality bag for transporting and protecting your paddleboards on all your adventures. With a silver heat-reflective tarpee upper exterior and a 600D water-resistant polycanvas base, you don't have to worry about its durability. And with a 10mm shock-absorbing foam core, your SUP will be well-protected from bumps it might encounter getting from point A to the water, and back again.

This SUP bag also has the features you need for comfort and convenience:

  • Heat vents allow damp air to circulate out of the bag.
  • A fin slot is included for when you're traveling with your fin in, that velcroes closed when you're not using it.
  • The shoulder carrying strap is extra strong, adjustable in two places, and removable.
  • A built in paddle holder on the exterior of the bag transports and protects your paddle, too.
  • Additional handles along the exterior of the bag allow for one or two people to carry the bag, if you've got help.
  • Bag is available in 7 sizes: 9' 6"; 10'; 10' 6"; 11'; 11' 6"; 12' and 12' 6"
  • Each bag is 32" wide and 6" deep
  • Dimensions are interior of bag; a 10'6" bag will fit a 10'6" long, 32" wide SUP
  • Approximate weight is 10 lbs
Q:
How wide is this bag? My board is 10ft long 33 wide high.

A:
All lengths of this SUP travel bag are 32" wide and 6" deep. For a one inch difference in width, you *may* be able to fit your board into this bag, if it is less than 6 inches thick -- but we cannot guarantee it would work; however, for some bags you have a little bit of safe give on the depth/sides, if the board doesn't use up all the depth, that will accommodate a bag up to an inch wider. We really could not guarantee it, though, it would be close.

Q:
I have a 11'6" board 31' wide board. What size bag should I order from you?

A:
The 11'6" size of thisSUP Travel Bagshould work for your board. It fits boards that are up to 32" wide, so at 31", it should fit yours fine. The only caution would be if your board is really thick; the bag fits boards up to 6" thick, so if your board it much thicker than that, it wouldn't work. Otherwise, if its 6 inches or less thick, it would be a good padded bag option for your board

Q:
What is the weight of this bag?

A:
ThisSUP Board travel bag weighs about 10 lbs empty.

Q:
I have a 10 ft 4 in x 32 sup and a 10 ft x 24 longboard that I want to put in one bag. Would this bag work, or do you have one that will?

A:
This bag would fit your SUP, if your SUP is under 6 inches thick. Its not a bag built to hold two boards, so whether you could fit your longboard in it would depend on how thick the two boards are together, with any padding you would want to use between them. Everything would need to be under 6" thick combined. Additionally, you would need to get a bag long enough for the SUP, so for this bag, would need the 10'6" option; so you would probably need additional packing/padding to protect the surfboard from moving around since its a bit shorter, and much less wide. It probably would be one of the closest options for both of your particular boards, if they aren't too thick combined, and if you are okay with the bag being a bit wide and long for the surfboard.

Q:
Myboard is 34’’ wide, the bag fits 32’’, I am wondering if it will still fit my board. It is 10’8 and 4’’ thick.

A:
For a 10'8" long SUP, you would need to order the 11' size of this SUP bag to fit its length; as for the width - its a bit of a close call. It is 6" deep of a bag, so if you board is 4" thick, it technically should have a little give on each side to give you the 2 extra inches of width you need to close the bag properly. It is hard to guarantee it would work, but it could possibly. It is one of our wider SUP bags, but his Paddleboard Day/Travel Bag, in the 11' length will fit a board up to 35" wide and up to 5" thick, so may be a better fit. For comparison, this rounded-nose bag, in the 11' length, also is only 32", but has fairly wide walls so can give you a few extra inches to accommodate slightly wider SUPs, as another alternative

Q:
I'm traveling overseas with my board. 10' x 32" x 6". I need to have my paddle inside. Best size bag that would be rough and tough enough to handle baggage guys

A:
This SUP bag would be a good travel option for your board, except the built-in paddle holder is on the exterior of the bag. The bag is 6" deep and 32" wide so the 10' long version would be a good fit for your board otherwise, and it is a good travel bag, that is padded to protect your board. Since your board is rather thick, and it doesn't have the paddle holder on the inside, whether you could fit your paddle inside the bag would be a question-mark.

As far as alternatives, this SUP travel bag can fit a board up to 7" thick; the 10' long size has a stated width of 29" but those bags are built with some extra width so it may work for your 32" board. The longer bag of 10'6" is listed at 32" wide (though as I said that line of bags tends to run a little wider than stated to accommodate thick boards). If you are planning to use some additional padding on the nose and tail of your board, the longer option of that bag might be fine, and you may have enough room inside it width-wise to include your paddle.

Q:
i will be flying with a 9'4" sup 4" wide and a 7'6" 2 3/4" wide surfboard. will a 96 bag hold them both? i need to keep the length down for baggage restrictions.

A:
None of our SUP travel bags are specifcially meant for fitting more than one board, so whether you could get both your SUP and surfboard into one of the SUP bags is a question-mark. For this SUP bag, it will hold a board up to 6" thick - and together your boards add up to a little over 6" thick, so it wouldn't work (and it really isn't built to hold more than one board, as it is).

This SUP bag comes in a 9'6" length that is a fairly wide bag; the fish size will fit a board up to 32" wide (and may seem wider - the 29" wide one seems a little wider). It doesn't have a thickness listed by the manufacturer, but should work for boards up to 7" thick, as it can hold inflatable SUPS -- so it is possible you could fit both your boards in it, it just isn't specifically built to hold two boards, so we can't guarantee it would work well for transporting them both, if they fit.

We do have some longboard bags that may fit your SUP and hold more than one board, so could possibly work for both of your boards. You gave us the thickness & the length of your boards, but you would also need to factor in how wide the widest board is to know if it will fit (especially since SUPs can be very wide, in excess of 34" wide...). This longboard bag will hold two boards, up to 9'6" long, and up to a total of 7" thick - so works for length & thickness, but it will only hold boards up to 25" wide, so that would probably be a problem if your SUP is larger than that.

Q:
What is the max width of board that fits in this bag? My board is 32 wide. I do not want a snug fit. Is there any extra room?

A:
This SUP bag is 32" wide - it will fit a 32" wide board, but it doesn't really have extra width in there, so it may be a little closer to snug if your board is 32" wide. It will fit a board up to 6" thick, as another factor for consideration on how the bag will fit your board. There really isn't any play in the width on that particular bag though, so it will be 32", without any extra room.

This bag, seen here: https://www.storeyourboard.com/surfer-sup-bag-paddleboard-cover/, does have a little more room and give in it, depending on the thickness of your board. The 9'6" Fish length of that board bag is technically 32" wide, but we have found that bag will be a little roomier in width - up to a few inches; that again depends on the thickness of your board - it will hold a board up to 7" thick. So if your board isn't that thick, it allows the board to hold a wider than 32" board.

The bag has a seam that the stitching is pulled apart. I am really disappointed in the quality of this SUP bag.

These reflectorized travel bags are great. The boards really do stay a lot cooler in the sun when inside the bag. Very important here in Georgia.

Hands down a great value. The construction surpasses the price. Very durable, well constructed and light weight. It has a shoulder carrier and a few hand held places with very strong stitched material. The paddle holder is very nice when moving my board from my suv to the beach and folds nicely so it takes up little real state at the beach.

I bought 2 different size bags and they are great! Quality, size, etc. Everything is how it was described and I even received it earlier than expected. Will definitely be coming back for other gear in the future.

Love the bag!

We bought this bag specifically to fly with our SUP. It handled the flights well. The plastic end of the carry strap did break, but we just ziptied it together. Obviously, an 11.5' board weighs quite a bit and the shape of our board didn't balance evenly so that may have put extra strain on the strap. We also had towels and extra gear in with the board since we had to pay for the oversize/overweight item anyway. We have a Surftech racing style board and the sizing suggestion given with the bag information worked out perfectly for us. Our board is almost 5" thick too. All in all, I would totally purchase it again. I'm sure we'll use it for more flights in the future and general storage of our board.

I recently bought this travel bag, as did my sister. I did not realize that mine was missing the handle/strap at the front of the bag until I was helping my sister load hers and how much easier it was.
I called the company to inquire about this and within minutes the customer service rep. Nikki, was sending me a new bag.
A BIG THANK YOU for making this an easy replacement, and standing behind your product(s).
I will be telling all of my SUP friends about your company.
