Product Description

This is the premier SUP hand dolly and bike trailer. Built to last in the harsh salt water and sand environment, we feel confident the SUP Wheels will meet your expectations. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty from the manufacturer, but you can expect it to last much, much longer than that.

Stand up paddleboards are heavy and one of the biggest pains is getting your board to and from the water. The SUP Wheels make it so much more convenient and enjoyable getting to your favorite paddle spot. The SUP Wheels have two 13.5 inch hard rubber wheels that will never go flat and can easily hop over curbs, steps, and more. Designed to be pushed or pulled, you can easily maneuver your heavy SUP over sand, grass, and pavement.

The deluxe version of these SUP Wheels comes with a mesh netting that allows you to hook in up to two paddles. This feature also includes a strap which allows you to carry all of your core SUP gear with just one hand! If you want completely hands-free transportation, then simply hook the tow handle around your bike seat. This will allow you to effortlessly tow your SUP board and paddle behind you to the beach or lake!

If you don't have a need for the towing handle and simply want to tow your board by hand instead, opt for the Classic version of the SUP Wheels in the drop down menu above. To reiterate, choosing the Classic version means that your SUP wheels do not come with the aforementioned mesh netting.

With a 15" wide frame you can transport nearly any SUP out on the market today. In fact, in many cases - only if you're towing your boards by hand - you may be able to fit two stand-up paddleboards on one SUP Wheels! This is perfect if you need to carry your kid's, friend's, or significant other's board too. It is only possible to tow one paddleboard by bike!

Q:
Do the wheels have breaks?

A:
This SUP carrier, for use towing your board by hand, or by attaching to your bike seat to trail behind your bicycle, does not have breaks on its wheels.

Q:
What exactly is the difference between the Classic SUP Wheels and SUP Wheels Evolution carrier?

A:
The SUP Wheels Evolution (Premium) has a mesh handle/tow strap that provides more functions.

With the Classic version, you tow the board using your hand only, directly holding onto your board while towing it, and you are not able to attach it to your bike seat, to use it as a bike trailer.

With the Evolution's mesh handle/tow strap, you can use the handle/tow strap to hold onto as you tow your board, plus you can hook in paddles, and you can also attach the strap to your bike seat, if you want to tow your board that way, making it a bike trailer.

Q:
You say it may be able to carry two boards. How would the 2 boards be attached safely?

A:
This SUP carrier may work for two boards. You are basically laying one board on top of the other, and then using the carry strap to attach them both and transport. Itis only recommended to hold up to 90 lbs, so if you had two particularly heavy SUPS, you wouldn't want to use it to hold them both if combined they were near or over that weight limit.

Also important is that you have to order the "deluxe with towing strap" model in our drop-down options menu when checking out. The other option, the classic version, does not include the carry strap
-- with that model, you just hold on to the end of your board and pull it. With the "evolution/deluxe" model, it includes a strap you can use to hold on to, and/or attach to a bike seat, and the strap is how you are holding the boards together if you transport more than one.

Q:
Does this work with inflatable SUPs?

A:
Yes, this SUP trailer works for most inflatable SUPs, as long as the inflatable SUP has a tapered end. The board needs to taper down to about 15 inches (38 cm) wide to fit in the wheel frame that holds the end of the board, and be less than 6" inches thick at the end.

Q:
Can the evolution deluxe be used for a 9' long board as well

A:
Yes, the SUP Wheels Evolution works for surfboards, too! Your longboard should be fine in it.

Q:
Will this work with 14 ft boards for a bike application? Can I haul two 14 ft boards?

A:
TheSUP wheels bike trailerworks for SUPs that are up to 14 feet long. One note, the board needs to taper down to about 15 inches wide or less at the tail, where it will sit in the carrier. If your board tapers down to that measurement, it can work with your bike to tow a 14 foot board, however you will notbe able to tow two boards at the same time.

Q:
Is the suitable for using with a board on a roof rack while driving? Any issues with heat build up?

A:
This SUP sock works fine for use with most roof rack systems for transporting your board, you would just secure your board in the bag to the roof rack. The sock will add another layer of protection for your board during transportation, though not as much as a day or travel bag. As for heat build-up, we don't have any guidelines to gauge if that would be an issue you may run into in your travels, though if you are planning travel in very hot climates, it may be something to be aware of to see if you want to keep your board in the sock on your roof or not. The material itself is a thick, polyester fabric.

Q:
Can use it on all types off paddle boards?

A:
This system works for most SUPs - including inflatable ones. The board will need to taper to just under 15" wide at the end where you strap it into the wheel system to fit - and needs to be less than 6" thick. Those are the main parameters for whether it will work for a board.

Q:
How are you holding on to the board? Just grabbing the nose?

A:
There are two versions available these SUP Wheels, so if you order the "classic" version, it would not come with a towing handle, and you would be towing it by hand, holding the nose (or if you have a SUP Handle already could use that). However, if you order the "Deluxe" version of the SUP Wheels, it would come with a towing handle that you could use to attach it to a bike seat, or use as the handle to tow by hand.

First trip to the beach and I'm hooked

I was a little skeptical because this is mostly plastic and I have almost a mile to ride my bike to the beach. However, I was very happy with this product. It was smooth, easy riding except where the path was narrow or there were sharp corners, but I just took my time. It had a little trouble getting the straps set up to the right length, but once you do you are all set for next time. I have a flat deck over my back wheel that I can affix a basket too. I wasn't sure this would work with that, but it actually was a bonus to help support the board.

Works fabulously. Pretty straightforward once you size the straps to your board. I am pleased with the product and customer service. My only suggestion is to make the instructions a little clearer on sizing the strap to your board. Order, delivery and customer service was easy and helpful. I will likely purchase another one.

I use this to tow a 11ft+ Bic SUP / Windsurfer. I can load sails, mast and boom on to the top of the board and tow it all to the beach.

One negative is that the instructions are really poor - or maybe I just need glasses to see the print/diagrams

These were well made but light duty, I had hoped they would be OK for towing behind my Scooter, but they were strictly light duty application walking or bicycle at best. So, I returned them for a refund. I was extremely pleased with the return process and how easy and pleasant this company was to deal with. I will definitely buy future products from them.

I wish there was a suction cup that would hold on to the board to make a handle
To hold on to. I don't like the mesh that you use as a handle.
I love the wheels.

LOVE IT

The SUP Carrier makes using and storing my board so much easier. Other than my board, it is the best thing I bought

Excellent. Superior service on the website and delivery. The product is the same. Funny, nobody seemed to know where to get such an item, even experienced board stores. Guess I got lucky. Just what I needed. Thanks.
