Product Description

This Thule Surf, SUP, and Kayak rack is a great rack for trucks that don't already have a rack. Made from Aluminum, this rack is lightweight and strong enough to carry all your favorite toys. The rack has an awesome and unique design feature - adjustable height. This makes it a universal rack for different trucks and different boards. For instance, if you have a smaller cab height and you want to reduce the wind profile of the rack, then you can simply lower it down. Or, if you need to carry something on the rack, but still leave plenty of room for cargo in the bed, you can raise it up to its highest point to leave plenty of room below.

The rack has Thule's patented AirTrip design which is a better way to redirect airflow around the support bars. Additionally, this truck rack has a textured strip that disturbs the airflow in a particular way. What does this all mean anyways? It means that you will have one of the most quiet and fuel efficient racks available on the market.

The adjustable and removable rack feature sounds like a security issue - what's preventing someone from stealing it? Fortunately Thule kept this in mind when designing this rack. Each rack post has a built in lock feature that allows you to keep your rack secure and theft-proof. Key is included.

Customize your storage! This truck rack can transport a variety of gear using Thule's compatible board transport systems. Check out the Thule SUP Taxi, a popular option for transporting stand up paddleboards on the rack (pictured above, sold separately).

Q:
How many boards can this Xsporter truck rack hold?
A:
The answer to your question is really going to depend on the gear you are transporting. Since there are so many different sizes and shapes of boards, etc., that you might want to use this rack for, it will depend on them. Two boards can sit side by side, more than that you might need to stack them.
Q:
Does it come with the board cradles as seen in pic of the black ford truck?
A:
Our Xsporter rack does not include the cradles. Cradles can be purchased separately here.
Q:
Will this rack work on a 2012 Honda Ridgeline?
A:
The Thule XsporterPro is not compatible with your Honda Ridgeline, according to their fit guide, and does not have an adapter that can make it work.
Q:
Is any drilling required?
A:
The Thule Xsporter Pro has easy installation, that requires no cutting or drilling, and limited assembly is required.
Q:
Can the rack hold side by side 2 paddle boards whose width in total is 70 inches (34 inch board and 36 inch board)?
A:
It would be a close call on whether you could fit those two boards side-by-side on this Xsporter Pro, due to their width. It also will depend on what type of cradles or tie-downs you would be using, for whether it could work, as the rack does not include any; the cradles shown here only hold boards up to 34" wide as it is. If using tie-downs and pads it may still be a close call on whether it could fit both of your boards side-by-side, and you would probably need to stack them.
