The Surfboard Rack for Home is a premium quality surf rack that will keep your board safely stored up on the wall. This rack is made from all steel and has been black powder coated for aesthetics and corrosion resistance. With its steel construction and 27" long arms, the Surfboard Rack for Home is designed to hold just about any surfboard ever made. With a weight capacity of 60lbs and the ability to hold boards up to 40" wide, this rack fits everything from shortboards to antique longboards This rack is the same build quality and construction as our wildly popular Triple SUP Rack so you can expect to be satisfied like hundreds others have.
One great feature about the Surfboard Rack for Home is that it is built with removable arms, so when you are not using it you can take the arms off for space saving and safety. The arms can be quickly and securely attached to the mounting bracket by just pushing in a push pin. One unique feature about the arms is that they can be mounted upside down or right side up. When mounting the arms right side up, the arm will be angled up 15 degrees relative to the horizon. When mounting upside down, the arms will be angled up at about 5 degrees (almost horizontal). The arms are equally strong mounted in either position, so picking how you want it is simply a matter of preference. The arms are completely covered in 1/3" thick closed cell foam. This is premium quality foam that is designed to take a heavy board without causing any scuffing or pressure point distortion. This foam allows you to keep your board in the rack in the off season without fear of distorting your surfboard.
How’s it going today? I’m Andrew from StoreYourBoard.com, here to talk to you about our Single Surfboard Steel Wall Rack. You can see the rack behind me. Let me show you some of its features and why it’s a popular pick among our customers for storing their surfboards at home. The rack will come to you in a box. It will have two rack sides and two rack arms. You can mount the rack sides to your wall whatever distance you need. You got short boards or longboards, spread them out. The two rack arms come with heavy-duty foam padding to protect your surfboards while in the rack and unrack it. To put together the rack and rack side is very simple. You just snap the rack arm in with a simple push button. Snap it in and you can snap it out. You can set up this rack in your garage. When you’re taking your surfboards on a trip, you can unsnap the rack arms, get yourself some more storage space in your garage.
Behind me, I’ve got a shortboard, surfboard, and a rack. The rack arms themselves are about 27 inches wide, so they should accommodate most surfboard widths. Pretty simple setup here, really what you’re looking for in your garage, in your basement, in your shed, a lot of different places that you want to store your surfboard. This is the single version of this rack. We have a double and also a triple version if you’re looking for even more surfboard storage.
Pretty straightforward. Take your surfboard out of the rack. Place it to the side. I just want to show you that you can also fit even longboards in this rack. We got this here. Very carefully. Just set your surfboard longboard into the rack. Like I mentioned the foam padding is really good. It will hold your surfboard in place. You can kind of set it, move it up along the rack arms if you want. If you are a little bit worried about kind of smashing your board into the back, dinging your rails, it will hold your board up higher on the rack so you should not have to worry about that. Just take care when you’re inserting your board into the rack. Check out the Single Steel Surfboard Rack on our website, StoreYourBoard.com!
I bought this to add to the 2 rack I bought last year. I was really happy that the arms were interchangeable. The quality is excellent on these, really beefy arms. Hardware included was very good too. I also like that you can tilt these up a little or a lot depending and what you want. Will definitely keeping going with these as I add to the quiver.
The racks are great and work as promised. The supplied mounting hardware (screws) are poor quality. They quickly stripped and one broke in half despite having pre-drilled holes, etc. I had better luck with hardware-store screws.
