The Double Surfboard Rack is a unique design and a great looking wooden surf rack. This rack is built in the USA from Birch and Ash hardwood with a 2" nylon strap; its strength makes it a great choice for longboards. The nylon strap actually contacts your longboard and forms exactly around its rails and surfaces. This means the rack conforms to your board without any pressure points and nowhere to scratch or ding your board. Most SUP racks have some kind of foam or padding that over time can compress or show wear and tear. This rack design with the strap is very durable long lasting.
Use this wooden longboard rack to store up to 2 of your longboards, SUPs, wind surfers, or whatever board up you want up on the wall and out of the way. This rack is a perfect way to organize your garage or basement and keep your toys safe. This rack has also been designed with an angle which gives a nice aesthetic, keeps your boards closer to the wall, and also allows very wide longboards to be safely and securely stored. The angle can be adjusted to 3 different settings to fit your needs perfectly. The arms of this rack also fold up when not in use to keep them out of the way.
This Longboard Storage Rack is built from top quality materials including stainless steel hardware, Ash and Birch hardwoods, and durable 2 inch wide nylon strapping. Each rung of the three board rack can hold up to 100 lbs (just make sure the rack is securely attached to the wall). This rack can hold boards with up to 6 inch thick rails and any standard width. If you do have some older vintage board with a rail thicker than 6 inches, then check out our universal rack as this may better suit your needs.
The racks come without a finish, so it is best for indoor use. The ambitious of you can apply a generous coat or two of water sealant to make it applicable for outdoor use.
We also offer this rack in other sizes:
Triple Longboard Rack
Single Longboard Rack
The rack looks great on our wall. The photos on the website don't do it justice. The rack looks very nice. We were concerned that there might not be enough space between the boards, but the space is perfect! The only negative was that the instructions said to place the racks 6 to 8 feet apart. That was actually too wide and our boards were touching the wall. We moved the racks to just 4 feet apart and they work and look great!
