Product Description

If you like to Wake Surf and Wakeboard this is the rack you MUST have! Not only does this rack look awesome it does a great job storing 3 boards in a very compact space and out of the way in your boat. Made from polished billet aluminum this is a top quality wakeboard rack. It is durable, looks awesome, and will last for many years to come. This wakeboard rack's tower clamp has a built in rotating feature on the back plate, so you can mount it on any angled piece of your tower and still have the wakeboard line up horizontally. With the new swoop designs of many towers this is a MUST!

The wakeboard rack also features soft rubber lining so your wakeboards will be cushioned while they are in the rack. There is also a bungeee strap that properly secures your wakeboards so you don't have to worry about them falling out while you are driving.

In case you haven't noticed Wake Surfing is blowing up these days and for good reason, what a blast riding a continuous wave behind your favorite boat miles from the ocean. As you also know wakesurfing requires a different board than a wakeboard so it is one more thing for your boat. Boat room is always precious especially if you want to have all your friends and family out for the sessions with you. That is where this rack is ideal. Enough to store 2 wakeboards and 1 wakesurfer this is the ultimate compact storage rack for your boat tower. Have a big crew? Get one for each side of the tower!

One of the best features about this Wakeboard Boat Tower Rack is the ability to quickly release the main rack from the clamp. Each rack comes with an oversized knob that is used for releasing the rack. Having a removable rack is beneficial for a couple of reasons. For instance, if you need to drop your tower down, you often need to remove the wakeboard rack in order to have your tower fold up properly. This typically requires tools, time, and frustration. With the quick release rack, you have the convenience of simply using a knob you can undo with your hands. Another great benefit of the quick release system is it makes storing your boat easier and safer. Often times, the wakeboard rack arms are the pieces that protrude the furthest from the boat, so by being able to remove the rack you free up more space. Additionally, as an extra precaution, removing your rack will prevent theft of your precious rack!

Clamp:  Make sure you measure your wakeboard tower tubing size so you get the right clamp size (drop down menu above). The "clamp" is what goes around your wakeboard tower to hold it in place on the tower. There are many different tubing sizes for towers so make sure you pick out where you want your wakeboard rack and then measure using the procedure outlined below.

Swivel option: The swivels add-on is an option that provide the functionality of …well, swiveling. In their normal storage position, most racks have your boards pointing out away from your boat. In order to remove or place wakeboards into your rack, you have to reach to the outside of your boat. The swivel allows you to easily spin the entire rack around to face the inside of the boat. This makes it much easier to switch out your boards. Swivels are an expensive add-on but are a HUGE convenience. Once you've used them, you'll be hooked and you won't want to go back to the static style clamp.

How do I figure out what Clamp Size I need?

Once you determine the perfect spot for your new wakeboard tower rack get a piece of string and loop it around the tower. Then measure how long the string was that went around the tower, this is your circumference. Use the table below and read across to find out what diameter tubing your tower is. The diameter is the size clamp you need. Select this size from the drop down menu above.  We also have some alternative clamps available in the option menu, that are fitted for these towers:  Malibu Illusion X, Malibu Illusion XS, Centurian Evolution, Centurian Gladiator, Four Winns Arch Tower, Regal Power Tower, Sea Ray Arch Tower, and Moomba V2 towers -- if your tower is one of these models, choose that option in the clamp drop-down menu.

Q:
The tower on my boat is slanted. Does the mount bracket swivel to compensate for the angle of the tower?
A:
Yes, this wakeboard/wakesurf rack does swivel to compensate for the angle of your tower! This rack's tower clamp has a built in swivel on the back plate, so you can mount it on any angled piece of your tower and still have the wakeboard line up horizontally. It can actually be adjusted from horizontal to nearly vertical.
Q:
I need a tower rack with a 1.5" clamp. Your website says there is a clamp available in the size, but I wanted to confirm the clamps themsleves are 1.5", not a larger size with inserts to make them fit a 1.5" tower.
A:
The clamps for this tower board rack are either 2 inches or 2.5 inches, and include the rubber inserts to size them down to the 1.5 or other smaller size ordered. This is fairly common for several lines of wakeboard & wakesurf tower racks, to use inserts to fit the clamp to a smaller diameter tower tubing. If the perfect spot you wish to mount the wakeboard or wakesurf tower rack measures to be a 1.5 inch diameter, the insert you would receive with a 2 inch clamp should make it fit properly.
Q:
Is there any way to connect this rack to a Malibu Illusion tower (2007 Malibu Wakesetter)?
A:
Yes, this wakesurf/wakeboard combo tower rack has clamp options available under "clamp size", for it to work with either the Malibu Illusion X, or the Malibu Illusion XS towers. So if yours is the Illusion X, you would choose that as your "clamp size" during check-out; it its the Illusion XS, you would chose that option instead.
Q:
I have a 2015 Fourwinns H210SS with the arch tower, is the clamp you have made for this as it bolts flat to the tower and not a traditional round clamp for tubing? Also, will it hold a wake board and knee board?
A:
We do have a clamp that work for the Four Winns Arch Towers - as long as it is an arch tower, the clamp titled "Four Winns Arch Tower" in the clamp-size options will work for your tower (it won't be the traditional type that attaches to round tower tubing).

Regarding the forks for types of boards it can hold, the larger set of forks has a 2.25" gap - so fits many wakesurfs, but if your kneeboard is thicker than that it won't work. You would want one with kneeboard forks that generally are closer to 4" wide to hold the kneedboard. This combo rack, seen here: https://www.storeyourboard.com/wakeboard-and-kneeboard-combo-tower-rack/ has one set of forks that are 4.15" wide to hold kneedboards, along with one set of forks to hold a wakeboard -- and is available with the clamp option for a Four Winns Arch Tower (found in clamp size options).
Q:
I have a Larson LXI 258 with a Malibu tower (no tubes). Will this mount on a flat sided tower and still have a release and swivel option? I don't mind paying for the BEST. Thanks!
A:
We have two mount style options for this wakeboard-wakesurf tower rack that are available for certain Malibu towers - the Illusion X or the Illusion XS. If the tower on your boat is one of those model Illusion's, the mount for it will work and have a release & swivel option, and can be chosen while adding the rack to your cart. If you aren't certain it is an Illusion X or XS, you can send me a photo and we can take a look - it would help to have a picture of the mount pattern on the tower, if so.
Q:
I have a Malibu boat & tower. How do I know if my tower is the Malibu Illusion X or the Illusion XS?
A:
The Malibu Illusion XS has a "serratted" wavey/scalloped back end to the tower (more stylized). The Illusion X doesn't - it has a smooth edge on the back end. Here is a video that shows the difference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MymXFa-d1hE. If you know for certain your tower is from 2007 or earlier, it would be an Illusion X - but the video and shape should help. show the difference as well. The Illusion X and Illusion XS have different mount patterns, so when choosing a tower rack, make sure the one you select is for that specific tower (the X or the XS - they are not interchangeable).
