This Suspenz hand cart is the One-N-Only cart you'll need to fit all your kayaks, canoes, and even paddleboards! It's smartly designed and well constructed to transport even the largest fishing kayaks or canoes (unfortunately it will not work with pedal boats due to their design). With airless wheels, an included security strap, and strategic padding, it's got all the features you need to get your kayak to the water while saving you energy for more paddling. Consider it a win-win for you and your boat.
Must-Have Cart Features:
Center Mount Cart. The cart's a dolly or hand trailer that takes your boat's weight and puts it on the cart. This cart is a center mount cart, meaning it will sit underneath the center of your kayak or canoe to absorb nearly all of your boat's weight.
Airless Wheels. The wheels on this cart are airless so there's no inflation and no flats. They're also 10" tall to provide the mechanical advantage to ride over rough terrain like dirt, gravel, sand, mulch and more on your way to the water. Plastic rims mean the wheels won't rust.
Security Strap. Included with the cart is a tie down strap to thread through the cart and around your boat to tighten prior to traveling. This is helpful - especially if you've got a bumpy route to water - as there's little risk of your boat falling out accidentally.
Rubber Coated Supports: Stabilizer support pieces on the sides and the front and back of the cart will hold your kayak or canoe in place. These supports are finished with rubber to protect your boat against slipping or getting dinged during transport.
What boats will it hold? This cart can handle just about any type of boat you have, up to 150 lbs. It can handle kayaks of all sizes (loaded with some gear, too), ranging from smaller freshwater kayaks to larger ocean and fishing kayaks, like Hobie, Wilderness, Malibu, Ocean Kayak, and more. The wider your boat is, the higher up it will sit on the side supports of the cart. As you can see in the pictures, this cart can even hold 2 paddleboards - it's a solution to all your boat transport needs.
Steel Construction. This cart is made from steel, finished with a powder coating, and includes stainless steel hardware; together that means this cart is built to handle heavy boats, withstand outdoor elements, and last for a long time.

Are the side upright supports adjustable? Can they be moved in or out? Based on the picture on your website, what is the distance between the upright supports?
Our XL Kayak Dolly has side upright supports that are adjustable. They can be moved in and out. When moved in, the supports can tilt inwards until the two sides touch. When moved out, the lower supports have a max distance apart of 22", and the upper supports have a max distance apart of 40". If the supports are pushed out any further than that, they hit the tires. There is a graphic on our listing for this items that shows its dimensions as such.
How far apart are the wheels? Could the cart be used on a pier 38"wide?
OurXL Kayak Carthas an axle between the tires that is 15" long (that is slightly adjustable within a half inch), so you are looking at a total width of about 15 inches for the base of the cart, including the wheels. That means, the cart itself would work on your pier. If your kayak is very wide at its beam, you will still need to navigate with it carefully on that pier.
I have a five person pedal boatWill your product work that large a craft
Our XL Kayak, Canoe, SUP Cart will most likely not work for your paddle boat. It can hold fairly heavy boats (up to 150 lbs) and boats of many types, but how a paddle boat would sit on its supports is not guaranteed to work out well. The upper supports can be set to 40" apart, which may be fine for a very wide craft, to support enough of it -- but the shape of the paddle boat would probably still not sit right on this cart.
Your XL Kayak and Canoe Cart looks like it could be adaptable for a large cooler. Does the design work well in sandy beach areas?
This kayak/canoe cart has wheels that are a decent size (10" diameter by 3" wide) so they work well on various terrains, but for some types of sand, sometimes larger tires are needed - that can really vary on the particular beach/sand. They do work over sandy areas, as they are a basic, multi-terrain tire set, but they are not specifically beach tires that might work better for some sandy areas. For using the cart with a cooler, it can support up to 150 lbs, but you would want to look at some of the measurements we have listed to see if you think the cooler really could sit in it right/securely.
