Product Highlights

  • Expandable system designed to grow as your rod collection increases
  • Low profile, closely hugs the wall while allowing room for reels
  • Unique fish design fits expansions like puzzle pieces
  • Durable wood design comes in 2 colors - black or natural oak

Unique, expandable system grows with your rod collection. The Expandable Fishing Rod Rack is just that; it has room to grow as your collection of fishing rods gets bigger. The fish design serves as a clever puzzle piece, with the nose of one fish (rack) fitting flush with the tail of the fish (rack) alongside it. (Browse the pictures for more detail). With the purchase of one rack you'll be able to fashionably secure up to 8 rods (depending on size) to your wall. To extend beyond 8 rods, simply purchase a second, third or fourth rack now or at a later date.  If you have a particularly large fishing rod collection, you may even want to extend fully around the room!

Durable wood construction with 2 color options. Choose from painted black or a natural oak look to highlight your rod and reel combos.

Will it fit all my rods? This rod rack is designed to fit many types of fishing rods, from big-butted surfcasters to your ultralight spinning outfits. Even fly rods will work, though if mounted with a reel attached it may rest on the base plate, rather than hover above as a spinning reel would. Keep in mind that your ceiling height is most often the limitation for wall racks. It simply won't work if you're trying to fit a 10' rod in a room with an 8' ceiling. Though please send pictures if you try! Realistically, you should plan on an extra 6" between maximum rod height and ceiling height. So an 8' rod will require an 8'6" ceiling height; this allows for a couple inches between ceiling and rod tip as well as base plate mounting a couple inches off the floor.

Up to 8 rods will fit with each rack. Simply order additional racks to expand beyond 8 rods. Additionally, larger rods, like those used in saltwater, will take up more space on the rack so it may not be possible to fit 8 surfcasting rods on one rack.  Attached reels drastically reduce space on the rack, so 4-6 rods per rack is a reasonable calculation if you will be mounting rods with reels.
